Between the 3 dedicated Skrillex tracks in Unbounded and all the other Dubstep stuff in Most Wanted/Horizon, I've had my fill for a while.DJ Skrilltomica
Played it for a while, didn't like it. Burnout 3 was better.smh @ Paradise haters. You dweebs just don't know a good thing when you see it. Best racer of the generation.
Has the online for MW gotten better in that regard? I had plenty of lobbies where people just flat out didn't do anything either.
NO MORE OPEN WORLD!So... you want a sequel to burnout paradise to not be a sequel to burnout paradise? How does this make any sense? If its a sequel to paradise, its going to be open world. Thats pretty much a given so hoping for anything but is sort of silly.
Problem with open world is that it's all the same area. Can't have multiple worldwide locations (Europe, Tokyo, etc)
Please, Burnout Takedown/Revenge 2
Well, not that, but forcing people to do the event, or kick them out/make it not detract from the experience.Yeah, they basically force everyone to participate now. They start a timer before each event so you can race there freely, but they'll eventually teleport anyone not there at the end of the countdown. It works WAY better than the Paradise system.
smh @ Paradise haters. You dweebs just don't know a good thing when you see it. Best racer of the generation.

Specifically, the two part cliff jump one: people understood that you have to do part 1 to get to the cliff, but 3 people were either griefers or just didn't get it, and kept on ramming everyone who was lining up. It was 10 minutes of just getting slammed from all directions, and made it just an absolutely terrible experience.
It would had been better if they'd let people opt out.
Never gonna happen if they want to keep that T rating, it's why riders disappear off bikes in the bike add-on.
Somewhat agree, I guess. The old system though had a clear host/client setup, so as host, I could easily trigger events that I know I have enough people participating in. This new one is a forced opt-in system: Everyone needs to do it. And that's where it sort of falls apart for me.If that's the best they can do, I'll take it. It's way better than Paradise where, oftentimes, over half the lobby was across the city doing God knows what instead of even halfway participating. The 2-part 10 minute challenges in Most Wanted do tend to go on too long when people are griefing, but most of the times it's better than Paradise where people only did the stunt challenges.

That'd be cool. Imagine going to a space centre that has a ramp that flies you to the moon where you can race and do takedowns in low gravity! Slowmo takedown replays!Launch me to the Moon
It's just different. Classic Burnout is designed around racing, Paradise is designed around stunts/group challenges/exploring/messing around with bare minimal focus on racing.Classic burnout is just better.
And this just further validates my point. The players that liked Paradise don't care much for the racing aspect of it, we just want to do crazy over the top stuff in cars. That'd be cool. This. But the thing is, they're just talking about a new Burnout game. They're talking about a new Burnout Paradise game. So it'll be open world![]()
Paradise was a fine experiment, but I want my Burnout back. I'll take two of the old tracks
over the whole of Paradise any day.
A retry race option on day one.
D-Pad, everything is on the d-pad. If you didn't finish a Race, it's the first item on the list immediately after.Wait...Paradise has a retry option now?? How do I use it?!
Bring back the crash mode that made the game amazingly fun.
I think you press down on the d-pad. Down or left, I forget.Wait...Paradise has a retry option now?? How do I use it?!

Yeah, I agree. Paradise was brilliant because it was so inherently different from NFS and previous Burnout games. I didn't really care that I lost a race, I just wanted to smash into other players and do crazy shit like aerial jumps and chasing wanted cars on the streets. I don't want just another racer. It's just different. Classic Burnout is designed around racing, Paradise is designed around stunts/group challenges/exploring/messing around with bare minimal focus on racing.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Burnout Paradise was one of my favorite games ever. I loved Burnout 1-3 and Revenge, and didn't like Burnout Paradise at first, but once I got the hang of it, learned the map and did the online challenges with friends I couldn't put it down.
It was like a giant skatepark, but with cars.
If they were to make another one I hope they expand on the same online co-op ideas they had for the challenges in Burnout, bring back crash mode and include the gps feature to events that they added for Most Wanted.
I also hope that they do another year of Paradise as the somewhat regular updates adding new content over the course of a year was really cool.
Big Surf Island was an interesting experiment, but mainly a failed one because it was so late in shipping. It was great that they kept on extending the game, but by the time it did come out, it was only the true fans that kept on playing the game that came back. And it showed in the design too, as the maps focus was on more stunts, more jumps, and more MP free roam experience (like the construction site and the stadium, both variation tributes to the airfield)No dlc exclusive areas - Big Surf Island split the field - failed to garner interest in me as there were very little challenges there.
Because there's not a billion of generic shooters out there already.
Really, Black was okay but not great. The first 2 missions were the best part and the rest was kinda 'meh'.
I don't want Paradise 2. Move all that to the Need For Speed side and bring back Burnout to Burnout 3. Loads of varied tracks, crazy fast cars and insane crash-junctions. Add a Crash-junction maker and let players make and share their best stuff. Enhance the Autolog stuff.
Make it not open world.
I know, not a popular choice..meh.
What's even more fun is seeing people request things the game already had, which means they are making posts without actually remembering the game correctly.
EVERYTHING IN BURNOUT PARADISE INCLUDING THE DLC AND WHATEVER MORE THEY CAN DO TO MAKE THE GAME BETTER. BURNOUT PARADISE IS MY MOST PLAYED GAME THIS GENERATION. HYPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
I FREAKING LOVE BURNOUT AND ESPECIALLY BURNOUT PARADISE.
