So, fellow GAFers, what's the policy on posting here? I've noticed that quite a few people bump their posts or re-post the same stuff over and over again. is that frowned upon or welcomed? I plan on posting more stuff, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's frowned upon by most. They just have the courtesy to not say anything. It's okay to bump your things, but not every page.

Some will say it's frowned upon while others will disagree. So, you should really do what feels right to you.

there were loads of good trade-in deals for 3DS (trade in your older DS system for credit towards a 3DS) and games (buy a 3DS and get $25 off a games, etc) and a lot of people have Amazon credit/GS credit to burn, so they used the 3DS to turn all that languishing credit into $$

The only people who disagree are the people who want to post their stuff every page :).

There are two kinds of people - those who peruse this thread every day, and those who check in occasionally. If you peruse it every day why would you want to see the same stuff posted every 50 posts, and if you check it occasionally you just hit "Last post" and then browse back a few pages to see everything.

Now that this thread is stickied you can't even use the "Frequent posting helps keep the thread near the top of the page and thus we get more eyeballs on the sales" excuse.

That being said, people posting every page isn't the end of the world, so it's not like I feel their should be a hard and fast "only post every x pages" rule.

Record of Agarest War (Really Naughty Edition) for Xbox 360. The game, and all the contents are still sealed. Unfortunately, I bought this at gamestop, and the actual packaging had been opened. However, the game/mousepad/pillowcase still have their plastic wrapping on all of them, and have not been touched. There's a dent near the top of the box, but otherwise it's alright. Lowered down to $50 shipped

Already prepared for that after working 24/7 on a website as a journalist haha. Excited to jump ship to the other side of the industry since the editorial side is shrinking and is plagued with internal problems that are out of control of the editors/writers.

First, I love Korean BBQ.

Second, the general rule seems to be that you can post your stuff on every page, but not more than once.

It'd also be great if you would use thumbnails for your pictures instead of putting large pictures in your posts like some retards still do.
