I've done sporadic selling around here with great feedback. It's been a while and I'm only selling 1 thing....

A Wii with homebrew channel enabled, component cable, Black Wii motion plus controller (the one with the build in +). Looking For around 135 shipped, it's all in great condition and I will include a 4GB SD card with the proper setup files. I am using it as a browser and SNES machine at the moment. If you are interested in ripping your own, it's really easy but you will need an external HDD. Will take Paypal or something more direct.

I can negotiate but the damn thing is in really good condition so I would like as much as I can get out of this.

Having just gotten engaged a few weeks ago, its time to sell of some excess stuff! Prices are as low as they will go, as they are basically what I paid

For Sale :
Final Fantasy VII Pirate for the Famicom - 55$

And Final Fantasy X-2ish Pirate for Famicom - 45$. Some say this one may be a port of FF4, but I dont know.

Or both for 90$. Ships from the USA, using priority flat rate boxes, so keep that in mind depending on your location. Prefer Paypal as gift or with fees paid, up to the buyer, or a money order, but only if you have proper feedback.


Both are complete and with manuals, however they are both from China (I believe) and are a bit lacking in quality. The battery for FF7 was out so I had to take apart the cart and slide it back in. And the Chinese workmanship leaves a lot to be desired, with the FF7 case not closing due to the cheap chinese materials. Note that I have never booted them up, but they were sold to me as working.

But both are extremely rare to have outside of China, let alone complete.

I received an email last night from someone who had an issue within this thread, and I must admit that this is one that I am not entirely sure how to handle outright, and thought it a good idea to consult the rest of you.

So here's what happened according to the email that I read. Two participants in this thread agreed to exchange XBLA download codes. Each code represented on XBLA game, right? According to both parties, one of the codes goes through no problem, and we have a game that went to its rightful new owner. According to one user, (we'll call them "User A") the code that User A was given had already been redeemed. Now User A PM'd the other user (who we'll call "User B") to inform about this issue. Instead of issuing a refund or anything along those lines, or working out another deal, User B says that User A may have already redeemed the code in an effort to scam for other codes. Now apparently, all of this went down almost a day ago.

Those are the facts as they have been presented to me. My question to all of you is this:

Is there a fair way to handle this situation? If there is, how would you do so?

The first guy should have verified his code before he traded it away. If you enter the code on the 360 it'll give you a yes/no prompt that you can use to make sure a code is still active. It doesn't work on the website though because it automatically redeems the code.

Well, what games are they? If they are games with achievements, wouldnt they show up in the persons profile? I guess the person could download the game and not boot it up so that their gamerscore wouldnt synchronize with the game itself, but if they have booted up the game then there you go. Maybe you can check xbox.com for their profile?

Otherwise you have to leave it as is with a note beside each name. You can't force someone to send another code when they clearly are suspicious that they are being scammed. That is the risk you run by using B/S/T

I'm insulted that you don't think I checked. ;) There is something a little odd with the complainant's original email. User A said he tried to redeem this code, but that it didn't work. I checked User A's Xbox profile. He already has that game and has got a bunch of achievements in it already. Problem is this trade supposedly happened in the last few says. The last time he played this game was in January. I'm suspicious of both of them for several reasons.

They should send the codes as pictures. That way you can determine misreads or if they even exist.
