Mainly for the tracking of feedback for a select few? What? So nobody actually cares about feedback ratings? First I've heard of this.

That's an entirely different thing. (Just to be clear, select few = the gaffers who update the feedback document).

People do care about the feedback of specific persons they plan to deal with and they will either notice the little plus/platinum/etc banner, a line of text in the person's post that says "I have X positive feedback," or they will check the document for the person's name.

What I don't think people care for are the many feedback posts scattered throughout each page. The random feedback post I quoted for example, that has no use or relevance to me or anyone really. Who's going to recall that post if/when getting involved with those two in a future deal? The posts are primarily there because it will be recorded in the document, which is what people look for and care about in the end.

If you're worried that the other party won't leave feedback in another thread, I have already had that happen here and the solution is to send a reminder. "Hey I left you feedback in the BST Feedback thread. Appreciate you doing the same." It works here and it would work there just the same.

One of the main reasons it never got implemented was that people said they would be less likely to leave feedback if there were two threads. There was also talk of implementing a third party feedback system to the boards, but that was shut down since it would only benefit people in this thread.

I don't get this, or at least don't think it is valid. Leaving feedback in one thread versus another doesn't make the process harder. We can still put negative/neutral feedback in this main thread (and maybe in the other too), since that is what stands out.

Having positive feedback in another thread isn't a determinant to a future deal; it's not like anyone is scanning all 10,000 posts in this thread and making their own tally of feedback before entering into a deal; if anything, we use the tracker in the OP, which can still be maintained.

Honestly, I'm just in favor of leaving links to your posts off site, not in tags, if you really want. Because yes, if something hasn't sold in 3 months, that's probably not going to sell at your pricepoint.

The card is in excellent condition, and the warranty is good through November 2017 (image of warranty for the serial number provided).

The factory overclock on the card boosts to 1430MHz on the core with no adjustments to power target and it is on the stock BIOS. With my current fan profile, running Heaven loops the card tops out at 61C at 47% fan speed. Temps have reached a little higher (64C) when playing The Witcher 3. This is in a HAF XB case with the entire setup on air cooling.

It is in a plain EVGA box that was received with an RMA'd card. No additional cables or power adapters are included in the boxes.

I'm on board with all of these. I've only been in the BST thread a few months and have seen the same complaints flare up about three times with nothing done about it. It's not enough to say "we talked about this before", let the discussion die out, do nothing, then say "we talked about this before" the next time there are renewed complaints.

Can we start a month-long trial run with all of the above changes made effective, the OP prominently noting the changes and linking to the new Feedback thread, issuing reminders to new arrivals, etc?
