This is about me, isn't it? lol
I would be in favour of limiting the number of pictures per post. That'd help everyone out. You can easily put links to pictures instead.
Though saying someone should have to post every 300 posts instead of 150 just because they haven't sold anything? That's bullshit. Get over yourself.
Gives you an idea of the condition. That matters to a lot of people.
Part of the problem is that a lot of regular sellers in this thread seem to be in such a rush to grab "dat FIRST POST" on the top of each page they can't even be bothered to respect the 150 post rule.
As an example:

When regular sellers are reposting every 1-2 days there is a lot of repetition in the thread. That's probably where the ad fatigue is coming from, with some posters suggesting rate limiting when items don't sell. Daily reposts of ads do come across as a bit desperate.
Rather than increasing the post limit between ads, it would probably make more sense to simply enact a
time limit between ad posts.
Something like 120 hours (5 days) seems like it would be reasonable, and it would cut down on the repetitive post overload. It would also make it easier to find one-off sellers who might be getting lost in the clutter from the regular, daily ads.
Time limits are also very easy to enforce as there's no fudging the time stamp. Last ad was posted at Jan 20 at 10:35am? Well your next ad shouldn't be posted before Jan 25 at 10:35am.
Regarding feedback:
I find it useful to have in the main thread as it gives a sense of who is actually selling stuff (and is reliable) and who is just posting a lot but never selling.
Regarding images:
Keeping a reasonable size to images makes sense. Reasonable is open to interpretation, but as an example, a 1080p image offers plenty of detail. And we're all used to screens of that resolution. So saying that all photos should be 1920x1080 at max seems like it would be reasonable. Higher res stuff could be linked.
What doesn't make sense is for people to post images of sold items. For example, there was an ad yesterday for digital Gears of War codes. Except Gears 3 had already sold, so the seller posted an image of the game art with the colors turned grayscale and a red X added in.
IMHO, if it's not available for sale, don't clutter the thread with it.
