I hate Downfall with a passion, can anybody recommend a good setup to offset how big the map is? LMG's keep owning me.

Just stay around mid pole and it becomes a mid-range map. Alternative is staying in just the gondola building if people are going there a lot. Also becomes mid-range. SMR is king in these areas. T25, QBB also pretty good. I usually roll with SMR or one of the cookie-cutter average ARs (T25, MTAR, M27)

Hard to say what you need to do since I have no idea what problems you're having on that map. There aren't a lot of long line of sights and any position an LMG would get into can easily be countered by killing them from a different angle or something. My general approach to LMGs is

#2) MMS from their "safe" side
#3) Approach from another angle
#4) just ignore them until they tire from that spot and try a different camp spot

Here are my main power positions on that map:

#1 (red)
Mid pole.

Basically I hug the inside of this. From here you can cover the "office" or what I call mid-gondie. The advantage this position has over mid-gondie is purely the fact that you can pop behind the pole for cover and switch sides or come back out the same side and catch them off guard.

You don't want to move a lot here; you can hear people coming from blue or red snipe so you just pick them off as they turn the corner. I usually just switch sides based on spawn flip.

From power position #1 you can transition to either position on the east or west. I'll move east first.

#2 Blue (pro shop/changing shop)
From #1 you'll want to look into the pro shop window (red snipe) and make sure no one is looking down. Then you'll run up and clear pro shop without jumping in.

After you do that you DO NOT push into the shop because that will cause all kinds of spawn flips and shit. The power position I use is on the corner of the shop (marked with a dot). From here you can see onto the gondie stairs and pick off snipers coming around fun bag. You can sit and pick off people (corner camping lol) coming down mid-lane or if you're feeling brave you can just step out and pick them up as well. Periodically you'll want to rotate back to red snipe window and clear them out. Another tip is that you can stand IN FRONT of red snipe and have a line of sight all the way to blue snipe that people won't look for (works on both sides).

From here you'll usually want to rotate back to mid-pole on a spawn flip but you can also move into the gondola power position.

#3 Mid-Gondola (pink)
A lot of people will just sit in the window. BAD BAD BAD spot. You'll kill 1-2 people and get picked off. What you want to do is pop out and see where they're at. You have LoS to both red and blue snipe as well as mid-pole. The bulk of your kills will come from standing by office door and picking people off that are entering gondola from lockers/cafe but you have a good LoS to the snipes too.

#4 Green position (when other team has A-Dom/Cabin spawn
You don't really rotate to this position from Gondola (unless you jump out mid). It's more of a mid-pole transition when you're pushing into A-Dom spawn. I'll come through the blue snipe and use the terrain to give me cover. You want to be rotating around the mound and popping up to pick people off at cabin. This is a really short position because in a mode like TDM, after you kill 3-4 people the spawn will flip so you either move into Medic and clear pole or rotate to gondola. Rinse and repeat.

You'll notice that I never fuck with the south side of the map. I sometimes use it to move but for the most part it chokes too hard and you can work yourself into a position where you get trapped. The north side, on the other hand rarely has traffic so it's a great way to transition east to west and vice versa.
 
So is this only in the Wii U version, or do other versions have this "ayyyyyyy" sound effect too when you die in Yemen or Turbine maps?

Rage comes over me when I hear that sound.

Treyarch has the worst sound effects in gaming today.

I think the weapons sound great though.

Grenade launchers are garbage in this game

So it's the pro pipe

They're OK. It's pretty dumb that you can't get more ammo with them though considering how godlike the SMAW is. Both cost 1 point but the grenade launcher has a smaller radius, less min/max damage, the "safety" arming rage and you can't even refill ammo? THE FUCK BROS.

I agree with the other guy. It might be the most annoying sound effect in Call of Duty history. Strafe Run in MW3 sounded way cooler than this strafe run :/ This one is just annoying.
 
lol. I don't think there's a way to do it. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

Only reason I was asking was so I could get my videos off of there, and put them on YouTube. I know PC can save it in you Program Files, but I don't know how it works on 360/PS3/Wii U (if it works on the Wii U)

EDIT: OMG, Activision Support is so fucking useless.

Well at least he tried, and was nice about it, but come on. Shouldn't you know that the Wii U can't upload videos in the first place?

Is there some secret way to use the War Machine in Zombies? because this thing seems to be utter trash but always comes up, it doesn't explode hitting zombies and just bounces off in some stupid direction making it utterly pointless.

It's only really common on TranZit. Anyway, it's the same as you pressing RB to throw your grenades and grenades are extremely weak, so it's not that great. If you pack a punch it, the grenades detonate like in multiplayer, without the delay, but it is still extremely weak because grenades are not that lethal in zombies.

That sounds like such an awful idea.

If I want to get destroyed by score streaks due to shit teammates I'd play domination, thanks.

It's what Kill Confirmed is now. 100 points is way too low for TDM, because something that is a 5 killstreak in Demolition, becomes a 10 killstreak in TDM, which is a bit ridiculous.

If you're good at TDM, arms race is hilarious. We basically went from winning 80-90% of our matches to having the other team quit out of almost all our matches lol

There's a delay. Its useful for tossing 4 or 5 grenades at where a train of zombies is going to be.
Pack a Punched, its an instant explosion, much more like the MP war machine.

Well its seems every time they implement a new play mode the game lags badly. Last night was no different. Tons of one and two bar connections. I am also having major issues playing against people with shotguns. More or less I shoot them first 4 times and they end up killing me with one shot. Happened all night.

Arms Race was pretty amusing with a couple of my friends last night on PC. Kill Confirmed still just needs to replace TDM entirely though. It is TDM's final form.

What is so cool about kill confirmed? I have a buddy that plays it exclusively but I cannot stand it. After playing it for a while, I get into the habit of walking over corpses trying to pick up tags, even in other playlists, and it usually gets me killed. The hell is the point of this gametype anyway?

Arms Race really needs a Mercenary playlist, people on teams are just absolutely rolling over solo players and it makes it very unenjoyable.
 
I hate how they weakened the Death Machine. It was way more powerful in BO1 even if there was no room for error with you losing it as soon as someone killed you. I remember once getting 16 kills with it in a TDM Nuketown game.

I got like a 5-6 killstreak with it last night in about 20 seconds. Still godlike.

I hate getting the Death Machine on my care packages. I run with a LMG a lot to begin with and all the death machine does is give me less XP.
