Is it true that you can't unlock everything without prestiging?

So say I was unlocking weapons and whatnot, I'd eventually not be able to unlock all of the specialists or perks, killstreaks etc without prestiging. Hell, I heard you had to be prestige master, which I assume is max, to unlock everything.

That's how it worked in Black Ops 2 so imagine it's the same here yes, you only get a certain amount of unlock tokens so you cannot unlock everything, you have to pick what you want, and then when you reach prestige master everything is unlocked.

Thanks. Yeah I forgot it was like that in BO2.

I'm actually enjoying BO3 now. I hated it at first, but getting to know the maps and realizing that there's other modes besides domination has helped me enjoy the game more.

I actually like Hardpoint the most but not many people play it. It's so fast paced and you can easily go 40+ kills in the right lobby. I see people get 50-70+ kills pretty regularly.

I bolded that so maybe more people will play it ha.

It's great but I'm opting for my setup first, Purifier and Ghost so far, Dead Silence next. I love "wallhacking" (sound whoring) people while being totally off the map.

I saw your video, is that supercrunch option also available in options?

You use dead silence and awareness together?

Also, I've been meaning to ask this. Any good headsets that work good with ps4 and with a mic, that people recommend and that is not ridiculously expensive?

If there's anything good for around 20-30 that would be ideal. Probably max $40

So with someone who owns a competent gaming rig and a Ps4, should I go for the PC? Just wanted to make sure there aren't any glaring PC problems before I purchase.

Yep, supercrunch is an audio preset in the menu, it makes the footsteps noticeably louder.

On my stealth setup I use Ghost, Fast Hands, Awareness + Dead Silence, plus a silenced Kuda/Pharo/AN or whatever I fancy. My playstyle is to rush around constantly, flanking and just mowing people down without them knowing what hit them. A good percentage of my kills come from footsteps and being able to hear enemies coming, so I use Dead Silence as well to prevent myself meeting the same fate, plus not hearing my own footsteps is great.

I can barely decide between playing Black Ops 3 and Fallout 4 and now Star Wars is coming out. I'm kind of glad Star Wars is a more casual shooter. I can play that to avoid burning out on CoD. This fall is fantastic.

I used to be the silencer guy too, but in this game I've been doing great without it

Any inexpensive headphones with mic you recommend?

What about Sixth Sense and the footprints perk? What is there to counter that?

I play on PC, but on my PS4 I use the Tritton Kunai, it has an amazing mic and good sound quality for the price, the only downside is they can get a little uncomfortable after awhile, but for £20 I'm happy with them. The Ear Force Recon 60P seem popular at this price point as well and they're over the ear instead of on top of the ear so are probably more comfortable, but I can't comment on the sound quality.

Yeah, I love it. It makes it easier to see where enemies are in many scenarios, and if someone is running away from you to hide in a corner or something, you can easily tell where they are. Really good for CQ. I haven't unlocked the high-level perks yet though so I can't say if I won't replace it later, but I certainly prefer it over all the ones that I have unlocked (level 30-something).

No... unfortunately they are headphones... but are suited for what seems to be your desire of determining enemy positions via spatial/soundstage queues. They are "open" which means the back is open and there is no pressure build up in the cups which helps add to a very open and airy soundstage with great positional tracking. i.e. you'll be easily able to tell where things are just by listening to the sounds. Pick up a DSS or MixAmp in the future and gain even more accuracy and the ability to then plug in a mic. Thats more$$ though. For now you can use your provided PS mic plugged into the controller for voice and your new headset plugged into your TV for audio.

Hi, maybe get headphones with detachable cable, plug in the Triton mic (if it fits).

Btw: Next time I see you online, we can party up? my English is not so good, different timezones and all, but would love to try some MP matches together.

Great, let's build a pharaohs revenge team ^_~ will be online, tomorrow the whole day. My K/D is 1.2 or something, not that you have too high expectations.

Had a tritton myself, not bad in my opinion. Took some money this summer, bought Philips headphones with a vmoda and a Mixamp. Maybe you look for a Christmas present for yourself . Was the best decision I made in some time for my relationship and my cats ^_^

Edit: Also who made the ps4 clan? Can I join?

I've been using the Microsoft stereo headset

It's nice, good padding, gets the job done

With awareness works well too

That perk is nice though
Makes you wonder the point of sixth sense since it seems like this one has better range

I finally caved and bought this on PS4, and played it yesterday. Holy shit I had a lot of fun with it. I usually play these kinds of games on PC, but I didn't want to this time because the last couple of shooters I played on PC had very small communities compared to their console counterparts, and I'd heard that BO3 on PC is kind of bad, mechanically. After adjusting the sensitivity higher I feel like I'm doing fine with the controller.

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that melee isn't 1 hit kill anymore, and I'm only sad about this in gungame. One of my favorite things was knifing people in that mode, and it kinda seems like that will be much harder to do now. Other than that, I played pretty much nonstop between getting home from work and bed last night. Tons of fun.

I also lost about an hour just messing with the emblem and paintjob creators, and looking at other peoples emblems. Is there a way to download someone else's emblem? I couldn't find it.

You can put it on the USB on the PS4 and work just fine right?

No idea honestly... you might want to check on that with some searching. I've only every hooked headsets to my PS4 via the optical out to a DSS converter then to my headphones.

I recommend the Kunai over that. I can't imagine wearing smaller cups than the Kunai as those were already small on me. It is a really good headset for the price and with a detachable mic. You can find it for $43 vs $30 for the Kama.

Nowadays, I use the HyperX Cloud 2, but that's a lot more expensive in comparison. I asked a friend to test the mic on this one compared to the Kunai and they said it was the same for them, which is great.

Really? When I tried it, it seemed everyone was using hardwired and the only time I saw steps was when someone jumped right in front of me. lol

haha yep

Any other Domination fanatics, I do play at times other modes....but honestly I mostly stick to do about 95% of the time, unless buddies want to do something else.

I would love some Dom buddies to play with at night

We could have a clan, we could play together, chat, be stratigic and win all games etc lol
