Is the combat record broken for everyone or is it just me? It'll show the basic stats like K/D, Kills, W/L ratio, etc. But when I click on the guns, scorestreaks, equipment to see my stats there, it's all zero. I'd love to see how I'm performing with each gun but yeah. Guess I have to wait until it's patched.
Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb. It puts you on the arena stats by default instead of regular MP. I don't play arena so that's why it was showing zero.

You have to complete all unlocks on all specialists to get the hero armor

Yeah, great gun. Though sometimes I get two hits and yet they don't go down, so you'd think 12 bullets would be enough but I guess not all of them hit them!
Only trouble is being 6 bullet burst it eats through those bullets!

I can't seem to find my"deaths" number in the stats section, am I missing something. It only shown no of kills and k/d ratio.....

That's so bizarre to me because SMGs already have the benefits of Quickdraw and stock built in.
Right, I do really well without it, but then there's those that you think you aim first but they kill you first. Or you shoot but they move with stock fast enough that you miss shots.
Since like I'm going to have no choice but fight fire with fire

In Black Ops 3 do you continue to earn unlock tokens once you hit lvl 55 and stay there without "hitting the button" and prestiging?
Can i stay lvl 55 and simply gain tokens to have everything in the game permanently unlocked without going through prestige?
I'd love to just sit at 55 and have all my toys. I don't care about visual stuff.

Crap! That's my fear. I JUST hit 55 last night and used my last token. Played a few games after and haven't seen another token... which hopefully is just taking some time... but i fear they cut them off at 55 thus "forcing" you to prestige if you want to unlock everything now. If true that's pretty fucking lame if you ask me. Some of us just want to stop grinding and have all the weapons/attachments etc. unlocked. I can't remember the last time i "hit the button" because you could have everything unlocked before.
That's exactly what they do, and it is lame.
Unfortunately more people like grinding than hate it, so they kept that 'system' from BO2.
The only way to have everything unlocked for you is by hitting Master Prestige (10th Prestige level 55)
Yeah, it hardly makes a difference, but when someone kills me a millisecond first, it's because of quick draw. And when you aim, and they move incredibly fast, it's because of stock. Stock is probably the most effective on smgs too

Damn 3Arc... i'll never... ever.. reach 10th prestige. I just can't devote that much time to video games in general. I'd just like to be able to use everything. The other devs did "this" better. I really, really hate how these carrot-esq unlocks change gameplay. People going for challenges and calling cards leading to asinine play... camping underwater hoping for kills in-water... spamming flash bangs hoping for quick kills after... rushing spawns in objective games because they need "mad kills for challenges yo". Ugh. Whatever happened to games that had everything unlocked from the beginning. If you need constant unlocks and progression to keep interest in the game... well, then the game isn't that good.
I'd have no problem playing BO3 for the foreseeable future without any unlocks or challenges etc. at all... i'm just content to play the game.

Well then I guess you just figured it out. Most games are not good, or people don't actually care about playing good games but rather whatever minor sense of accomplishment they get from superficial rewards.
You know you guys don't have to prestige and keep everything right?
That being said, I find prestiging fun, and in my case for example, around prestige 3, I should have everything I mostly like for example. Prestige 1 I unlocked favorite perk, then 2 I got favorite weapon, and with 3 favorite specialist.

I know i know... but BO3 is actually damn good and enjoyable as hell to play (when it's not lagging like a sonofabitch). lol I just want it all... and i know i'm probably in the super minority here who hates the prestige system and unlocks.

Unlocks and prestige are terrible for a competitive game, but for a casual franchise like Call of Duty it's perfect. Enough there to stay interesting enough for until the next version is out.

How useful is the lasersight? I've been getting destroyed with the pharo even in close combat.
Not sure why you'd have to shit on people who want to complete challenges, I like them because they make me change the way I play if I want to complete them. In BO2 by the time I hit Master Prestige I had Diamond Camo on all but pistols and LMG's, had a good time getting a lot of challenges done on my journey to Master Prestige and being able to show it off with camos and calling cards was cool.
Challenge and camo progress not resetting after Prestiging is there so that you'll want to keep prestiging and playing more. I'm only hitting Prestige 2 today and so far almost done with getting Diamond camo for assault rifles (just need longshots with each rifle and get the M8 done).
Personally love the Treyarch games as they keep me interested moreso than IW and SHG, played BO2 for 7 months while I only played Ghosts for a month and AW for a week. Getting the same vibes I got in BO2 for BO3.

I think I ran the last 5-6 missions with sniper and thermal with FMJ.

Nope, happened to me day one, was gutted, had a grenade quad feed I wanted to bookmark and save.
I can only imagine they expect people to have capture cards they use to export the clips to their YT channels.

you can just let the PS4 record it also. not sure how it works on xbone.

Not shitting on anyone... it's a broad generalization. I just personally have no need for the unlock system and challenge system. I play the game to play the game. To each his/her own.
Around 250 or so if you're decent and have a score per minute higher than 300. Lower than that, obviously will take you longer. Took me about 17 hours to prestige my first time.

This is the best way to do it. The PS4 dash lags something fierce when mid game so its not ideal to get clips, kind of have to wait until its over and go back to it. Haven't run into a game that lags so much on dash.

and yeah I hate not being able to unlock everything at max level :/
I enjoy unlocking things, but max level should be everything
then again I guess people could argue that prestige 10 is the max level and every 55 before that is just a stepping stone on the road to it
I play the game to play it too but having something to show for it other than K/D or time played is nice too. And like I said, those challenges force me to play with guns or equipment that I would otherwise never use and heightens my skill with them as I would have to learn to use them. It's why I win most of my Gun Games, I've become decent with every type of gun.
yeah, same. if I try to get a clip from a game direct from the share feature I have to pull it up after a match and wait until the next match is almost ready. I thought something was wrong with my PS4 or HDD at first tbh lol.

I was thinking Scythe as well... or Purifier for my first token...
But part of me really thinks Dead Silence, M8A7, or the Sheiva might make more of an impact in game. Can't decide. Forever 55

On this subject, yesterday evening in Metro HC Domination, I kept going to my right and wall running along the sea/river. 3 times in a row I got shot shortly after landing, had no idea where it was coming from. I then found out that someone was camping below in the water! I then proceeded to kill him, but was funny.Once you get used to the maps, they are so much fun.
