sadly it didnt work. i would get 3 or 4 and be killed by someone randomly shooting me through the fence to the right from that alley (no clue how they saw me there)

It'll come, I also used the spot near the big tree on hunted, by the gate on one side of the map, that gives the long shots too. Its a pain when everyone else seems to be running around with ARs, SMGs and not a care in the world, while you're on a crap no-attachment sniper getting 7 kills to everyone elses 30. I only just started actually looking at the challenges last month when I realised I wasnt using my playtime effectively, and I was 100 miles off gold for anything, including specialists. So much bullshit has come up while doing it. I do it all on hardcore, which seems to be an absolute given.
ARs - these were fun, the shiva is a 1 shot beast, the KN is so beautifully steady, the XR2 was a bunch of fun aswell. Enjoyed this lot. DIAMONDED
SMGs - my god. Vesper headshot challenge, in March when the weapon had been ruined. The gun is absolute shit, recoil is insane, clip size is pathetic. Even gripped, extend magged and suppressed its the worst gun in the game for headshots. Makes the kuda feel like a joy, the razorback an old friend. Vesper took me hours and hours, days and days. Horrible. Rest were ok and very fun, forced me to learn the VMP without ironsights and now I love it. When it popped up with my 5000 bliss, 5000 gold and 5000 diamond XP in game I was so thrilled. DIAMONDED
Snipers - done the drakon like I said. Onto the locus now, all done except for the 5 kills dont die chameleon one. Thats tough with bolt action, so slow. Working my way on it now.
SGs- urgh, the KRM was ok with the 1 shot kills instead of headshots, easy. Hardcore mode every shot is a 1 shot with it, well, when it decides to hit people anyway. Then...the Brecci. Jesus, it wants headshots? Took me a long time, everything either whiffed or counted as a body shot. Even plain as day shots to the head would register as body kills. So annoying, and the gun shoots marshmallows not pellets so this was a pain. Argus was fun as it has a tight spread, did my headshots fine. Haymaker to come, about 70% done with these.
An AFK player I can stroll up to and give a nice tasty head shot without him moving. *pop*. Having fun now with some silly classes, always hardcore, always free for all. Vesper, 2x tripmines to cause maximum anger, XRM thingy 2 shot rocket launcher, my anti camper device which is hilarious on hardcore, its like you get your proper danger close power back. Dead silence so Ive got slippers on, and I'm sure the vesper is actually less recoily now WITHOUT grip, which is weird - try it.Totally changes the game for me anyway, so much fun when you earn your golds with that final challenge, you feel like you've been on a journey. My favourite sight in all the COD games ever now? The vesper headshot was like the bit on the end of Shawshank Redemption when he gets out of the pipe.
I prefer Scavenger so that running out of ammo is never an issue, and like with Sixth Sense I feel Tracker makes things worse for me by getting me paranoid and making me follow a trail that I wouldn't normally take. I like the BOA 3 sight since it is zoomed in but not too much, allowing the weapon to be used from close and long range. However, if you can manage without a sight, I would definitely go with Dead Silence since I absolutely despise Awareness more than anything else.
