Can someone clarify something? Is exo-like movement always available? Or is it a perk or unlocked after a certain number of kills? Just curious. If it's always available to the player, how does this game manage to differ itself from AW by not being annoying with exo-movement?

So is this game worth $43 for the zombies? I have no interest in the campaign (I heard it's terrible) or multiplayer but may buy this when Target has their B2G1 just for zombies if it's worth it.

I got paged last time so I'm asking again: is there a NeoGAF PS community for this? It would make partying up for competitive and zombies easier.

Yup. This needs to have a community on PS4. I'd love to have a group to always run Zombies and some multi with. And generally just chat and shoot the shit

After 2 levels in the campaign, the impression so far is underwhelming. Still the same quirks of every AAA shooter in the last years, specially in harder levels in which seems these games focus too much in making you so vulnerable, that you are playing the turtle game of hiding and shooting before dying after a few shots.

The worst is that makes all the traversal options pretty much moot in this context.

Dosn't help that the plot is laughable in the worst sense, I wonder if COD devs are so self aware of it that is on purpose at this point.

I think I'll start the MP soon.
They are aware, black ops always has had an awesomely stupid plot which is my favorite part about their campaign.

The story and the voice acting in this so far after a few levels has been kind of terrible. I don't expect much out of a COD campaign but this is falling short so far, I hope it picks up.

Kiss my kdr good bye, was just in safeguard, one match went on for like 20 minutes, trying to escort that damn thing and went 25-50, horrible

3 guys on the other team had great zone control with those traps that pretty much melt you, they were getting 3 or 4 kills at a time

I feel like I've reached the point with the multiplayer this year where I can't even be mad at how bad I suck. In previous years I used to get frustrated just trying to stay a little above 1.0 so I could feel like I'm contributing something to the team. So far today I'm nowhere near 1.0 and I can't even be bothered to care. It's still fun but maybe I'll find it even more fun if I can just let go of the stress.

So yeah I'm that guy on your team near or at the bottom of the leaderboard, possibly costing the team a win. Sorry!

man what a great game, I don't get people who dislike the SP, so far only done the first two missions, but the plot seems crazy fun and you get all this shit to use like bugs that fly at people to kill them, blowing up robots with your mind etc, shit is just amazing

MP is great too, it's call of duty with some more wall running but that's all I expected of it, guns feel great to use and look pretty good too, plus there is like a billion things to unlock and I love unlocking things ^^

Fools are always so certain of themselves, but wiser men so full of doubts.
Gun Game on Combine is literal cancer.

Ahha I had to close my application and restart it for nuketown and giant to show up in playlists

Again, nuketown only around this weekend, shame

It's always avaialble. You can only use it to wall ride or boost jump which is slow compared to AW. Also there's no side strafing like AW.

Just came into the thread to point out how every year the servers are shit on launch -_-.

That happened to me this morning. Turns out it's because I played offline last night, and then went online when I got on this morning. Apparently there's 2 separate campaign save states, one for online and one for offline.

Don't know if this is your issue or not though.

Same here.

I was forced to play the campaign offline yesterday as the servers were down. I go to continue today now that the servers are up and I have two options:

1. Start a new campaign from scratch, this time connected to the servers.
2. Select Start Local Game and continue my progress but forever have to play campaign offline, missing out on the online advantages whatever they are.

It's really weird how campaign when connected online and campaign when not online are two completely separate save files with nothing transferring from one to the other.

Yep. Realized I was in offline mode, logged back in online, voila.

Stupid and annoying.

It's always available, essentially.

It's pretty damn annoying, but definitely not as annoying as the exo-movement.

I am seriously considering picking this up. The cyberpunk aesthetic really touches on my interests.

The thing is, I'm probably not going to touch competitive multiplayer much, if at all. I will be playing mostly co-op through the campaign or in zombies modes.

For those of you who have picked it up: Is there enough content, excluding competitive multiplayer modes, to make the game worth picking up at the initial price tag?

I'm halfway through the campaign and I'm incredibly disappointed so far.

This is horrible compared the Black Ops I and II. They were masterpieces of COD campaigns. This just sucks (so far). Doesn't even feel like it's in the same universe as the first two games. So much charm is lost without all of the old characters.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the co-op in the campaign local by any chance?

Makes me sad that nowadays friends/cousins are better off staying in their own houses if we want to play games together :(

So does anyone know here if playing local co-op /multiplayer on two screens is possible on PC was interested in doing that when they said you could but the only thing I've read about it in here is you have to stretch the game in windowed mode which is just dumb.

Sorry, just had to share this shot. The fire sure looks amazing for a 2015 game.

Game is getting trash from user's right now. Gamespot and polygon gave 7's, and it currently has a 4.5 on PS4, 3.5 on XB1, and a 2.7 on PC.
