I'll take your word for it as I've only ever really played cod for a fun blast. My son is obsessed with zombies on this one so we have been enjoying that.

Shame about the multi maps. Hopefully they can turn it around with more good maps.

You are speaking as what you are saying is fact. That's just a matter of opinion. MWIII was better than this and only MW2 was a bust for me personally.

Quite a few of my group do not like 6 at all.

I think they are planning a year 2 for this game last time I heard? Game will be fine in the long run as long as they don't veer to far from the path imo.

Legit, everyone camo’d every gun, prestige max, rinse and repeat lol. Typically of CoD every single year even I haven’t picked it up for two weeks since Indy and having done nearly all the camos now and it’s the most fun I’ve had in ages with CoD.

EA's sports games. CoD is third on US PSN, NBA is #2, College Football #4, Madden #5, FC #6.

Which is even more impressive when you factor in that they are all are paid games and not F2P so you need PS+ to play MP.

Ohh yeah EAFC, NBA2K, College/Madden sometimes climb to the top 2.
But generally its Fortnite and CoD in the top 2.
For CoD to even jump out of the top 5 would be a shock.

I'd say it is. They've also now added two battlepasses to the game too.

The event pass is not a battle pass, you don't earn your spent cp back with it, and it's much shorter.
Regardless, it also has a free track of rewards so you're in fact getting more free content than in previous games, so the monetisation is pretty much the same it has been for years, yet players are getting more for spending nothing.

People forget MWIII was by all accounts NOT a good game....

This isn't true at all, all of the fake outrage surrounding MWIII was people calling it dlc for MWII, which was retarded, but in the end it completely dunks on MWII and had the best post launch support of any cod by far, every season was a straight up banger and pretty much all of its best maps were seasonal.

If Modern Warfare III couldnt kill CoD Black Ops 6 certain aint gonna.

I haven't really encountered hackers at all.

Call of Duty has flaws like excessive microtransactions which makes everyone look like clown, terrible performance issues in menus, poor level selection. But competition for this kind of FPS is really weak: Battlefield 2042, XDefiant, The Finals, Fortnight..

Counter Strike 2 seems to still be thriving but it's bit different kind of game, Rainbow Six Siege goes to same category of sweat FPSing.

I swear every second prick is running walls. Come round corner, turn another 90 degrees and headset out of nowhere before you can even see them. The amount of pre-firing right as you appear from any nook or corner is ridiculous.

Apparently everyone has a HARM up and running.

The stupid grenades that you can't escape from because reasons, even when it's on the otherside of an object or feature.

The oddly weird difficulty to see other players like everything is zoomed out.

Oh and the weird fucking invincibility frames when someone is jumping.

It's frustrating to say the least.

I much prefer MW3, but it's impossible to get a local room on that game in Hardcore now.

You said MWIII was not a good game. I respectfully disagree, as do a large portion of the community.

It launched ok and just kept getting better and better each season.

For the record i like BO6 as well but some of the maps are gawd awful.

I was banned on PC losing all my progress and purchases, you nay not believe me, but I don't use hack, hell I'm not even that skilled of a player, maybe a bit above average. This really piss me off, I try to appeal and got nothing, stop playing on PC fearing another ban without breaking any rules, and the funny part is that people who DO use hacks aren't banned at all, I suspect that the antic heat they use don't do jack shit, and all the bans are from user report, it doesn't make any sense.

Have never played CoD multiplayer, and the last CoD I played was Infinite Warfare (which has the best campaign). But I heard that the new Black Ops is shit; both in single and multiplayer.

Go play ranked and everyone Platinum and up will be aimbotting and using wallhacks. If you manage to beat them, they'll boot you from the server before the game ends and you'll lose SR. If you communicate with them, you'll get shadow banned as they can mass spam reports with the newest software they use. MS replaced a lot of QC with AI when they took over Activision and it's very evident in BO6. Everything from store packs down to anticheat is all AI now. They should be ashamed.

The newest cheats have a mass report system, so you can target a specific user and have them banned. Their anticheat is AI based so it's a recipe for disaster.
