Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is coming to Xbox Game Pass July 24

Short, wack a mole, linear nothingness like always
The campaign? Yeah that's shit. No question. Although i don't recall it being linear, it was played out on area's of the BR maps as far as i remember, i might be wrong it was entirely forgettable.

But that's not what i play COD for, nor 99% of the player base.

If you like MP games and have Gamepass i urge you to give it another go. I sacked COD off for years and only came back for the new MW and was pleasantly surprised. Now its my in between games game.

I thought they said the next COD?

I may be totally misremembering it though.
I thought they said don't expect any COD until 2025, I can't seem to find the source though, so i could be wrong.

Edit found it: Yeah nothing until at least Feb 2025:

Cool you don't like the campaign but plenty of people do and play zombies and both were shit

So am I understanding what I read online, Ubisoft has cloud rights for 15 years so we can't play this on xcloud or GeForce now with gamepass? Hope I'm wrong and mis understand

Ubisoft is free to negotiate a deal with Xbox and/or Nvidia to put call of duty on either or both services. Ubisoft having cloud right just means that they are in full control of the IP in this senario.

Considering Ubisoft doesn't have their own cloud service (that I'm aware of) I'd say its a safe bet you'll be seeing Call of Duty pop up on an existing service after someone secures that deal with Ubisoft.

Thank you I appreciate the kind response, I get it now. So just Ubisoft being Ubisoft lol.

I guess I'll finally see what all the fuss has been about these last 25 years or so. Last one I played was part 1 on PS2.

DO NOT play the campaign. It's not CoD. Pretend it never happened.

Multi is great though

Hoping the next one has a return to form for the campaign and zombies!

I'd probably sign up to Game Pass on PC to play this for a couple of weeks if I didn't have to use the Xbox/Windows PC application. I know it won't happen, but I wish they would push game pass onto Steam too so that I could download the games through that instead. I could then play some of them on my Steam Deck.

Yes I don't understand why they are not doing that... I want to play the campaigns ffs.
They will stretch it for as long as they can, and even then I don't expect a big dump. It'll be drip-feed, most likely.

I understand why they are doing what they are doing, but it's already been almost a YEAR!

I don't mind diving in the MP until Black Ops. What time will this be available? Plus I'll try it out on the PC with the new build

If they can release BO6 on day one, if they can release MW3 (which is the current active one, as you say), they can release MW1 and MW2... I feel it is just they don't think about it for now.

What I mean is, for me, it again feels like there are no gamers in control, all are business men only. And sure business is important but we all (I think) loved the "gamer mood" of the OG Xbox and 360, with Jay Allard, Ed Fries, etc.

It's not that simple. They have to get MW1 and MW2 to the Windows Store before they can show up in GP. mW3 was just added to the store yesterday, and would have been priority for reasons clarky clarky gave earlier.

Is Modern Warfare Triple any good?

No. Its a glorified DLC and teh campaign feels more like a mobile F2P mission style than an actual campaign from before. Play the MP if you want but if you are coming in for a bombastic campaign, it aint here and this is me as a longtime fan of the franchise telling you this.

The great thing about the last few version of the game is the SBMM will have you in pretty equally skilled lobbies after it gets a snapshot of your skill in about 10 games.

In other words hang in there awhile and don't try super hard early on

Side note to get some extra XP and level a little faster run decoy grenades and throw them everywhere whenever you unlock them
Hell naw brotha lets go wild on those young bloods imma ready for tonight shiiit i need those godzilla and kong skin too baby

I actually cancelled gamepass renewal on my xbox last week because I see no further value in it tbh, but thanks for the fanboyish concern
I find it ironic that you're butthurt from getting pushback for calling people in this thread "~10 year olds who don't have permissions from their mums to buy the game".

Why be like this?

I know a lot of adults, including my 57 year old self, that's happy to see COD games coming to GP

I look forward to going back and replaying several campaigns
50 years old and reporting for duty.

Mom wouldn't get me it either, bitch.

I didn't think this would move the needle for MS significantly (regarding subs) but seems to be plenty of interest in it, so come Black Op's maybe it will.

To be honest this would be a much better way of handling things if you ask me, Retail for 3-6 months then on GP. Big gamble as things stand that more than likely won't work out for them IMO.
