The equation is significantly different when it comes to multiplatform games from popular franchises.

COD will always do significant numbers on PS and PC, and they're realistically looking at solid sales when it shows up on Switch 2.

I downloaded the game on my slow ass 10tb mechanical hard drive but it keeps crashing when I launch the game with an error code. Anyone else having this problem or should I try a different drive. Just trying to avoid it since the DL is a big boy lol

Its needs to be on an SSD as per the system requirements.

I installed the base game and MW3 MP and it was like 116GB.

MP seems very good so far. TTK seems much better than past games. Holy fuuuuuuuck there is so much going on in lobbies and menus though and there are so many bizarre skins. Haven't played a CoD MP in years.

Yeah it'll take a bit of getting used to. Wait till you see how many guns and attachments there are lol.

Yeah the TTK is a bit longer than the previous MW2019 and II thank god. Its miles better IMO.

So I have my Battle Net linked to my Xbox Ultimate GP, it doesn't show in the Blizzard launcher to try and play on GeForce Now. Should this even work, or am I missing something... they do a fair job of making some of this shit too complicated sometimes. I.E. Can play Diablo 4 Gamepass on GeForce Now but not xCloud.

No you need to use the xbox/ gamepass app on PC mate as normal.

Also not on streaming until 2025.

Maybe a dumb question but I bought the BlackCell on Playstation and just saw my progress is tracking on Series X as well into the Battlepass but am I going to get the free COD points in the Battlepass on my Series X while I progress on the Playstation?

No points stay on the platform you purchased the pass on.

I think we spoke about this one before. I doesn't really matter because you will still have access to the BLOPs store on every platform due to warzone. So say if you have residual points left over your could fire up warzone on say playstation in 6 months buy a skin and it then would be available on whatever platform you are currently on. If that makes sense?

Thank you appreciate it, I do remember hearing Ubisoft has the rights to Call of Duty yet they have no streaming service I know of. However Diablo 4 is Activision/Blizzard and I can stream that on GF Now so it's all a mess lol. However I can stream COD Warzone and play MW3 maps if I buy the game there. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

This type of shit is annoying.

I learned the hard way last season that this is not true. I bought the BP on xbox. While playing on PS5 I used BP tokens to redeem a sector that gave COD points. Those points were applied to PS5. I now have 100 useless points on the PS5 and 100 less on Xbox that I would have if I unlocked that sector on xbox instead.

But...maybe you are referring to the Blackcell points they give you right away. In that case, you are right.

Also be careful not to redeem BP tokens on xbox. If that sector has COD points as a reward, those points will be stuck on xbox (rewards other than COD points will transfer though).

Really? Ive never noticed that, well you learn something new every day, thanks for the heads up.

That would mean i could buy the BP on playstation then play it on steam and then use the cp to buy the next bp on steam. Weird.
 
Started the download now. Maybe it will be done in a few days, lol. Might be the largest download I've ever done ever.

Haven't really played COD since BO2. Holy shit this is bad. I have to go into a CoD app to then go into the game I want. It runs slow and shitty and the menus are filled with shit I do not care about. This is awful. The game may be good, but just getting there is awful.

I just hate having to a dedicated launcher just for CoD games for it to then close and load the game up.
 
I haven't played one of these since whichever the one with the controversial airport sequence was. Tried the campaign on PC briefly (about 20 minutes) and it was great. Looking forward to playing the rest this weekend. Not sure why it's getting ripped so much - I think it's short, right?

After 100+ hours in Starfield the shooting felt so incredibly good :messenger_tears_of_joy:

That menu system is a little overwhelming though…

Re-installed MW3 last night due to this being on gamepass. Maybe I'll get back into zombies mode seeing there's new players. Stopped playing for the past 2 seasons.

Yeah its very short and you wont notice if you are not not familiar with recent COD's but most of it is ripped from the multiplayer Warzone maps.

Check out 2019 or Cold War if it they ever hit game pass those campaigns are much better.
 
Any lag issues with the GP version?

I'm guessing this is a good stress test for when the big one drops in a few months.

I can see what you mean, at first the open missions reminded me of MGS/Ground Zeroes. Sneaking through tall grass. But I guess thats how Warzone works (Ive never played that)?

Except COD was never known for stealth so the AI is absolute ass. You can literally just run towards your objective because enemies will keep spawning and as long as you reach your location the mission is done, it doesnt matter that theres 40 guys shooting at you. The mission will just end right there and then. Terrible "campaign".

That's my biggest issue with recent COD games. The UI is absolutely terrible.

So many stupid menus. The navigation is awful. There is just so much needless clutter.

The old-school COD games used to be so good in this regard as their focus was on the game instead of the endless "rewards", battle passes, info dumps, upselling, cross-selling, and whatnot.

They are terrible. They are almost so bad that I want to uninstall. You don't even have time to create classes between games because you have to cycle through so much bullshit. Also why the fuck does it show me 71 guns in each class when I only have 1-2 unlocked?

Might just delete and wait for Blops 6. At least I'll have Nuketown to fuck around on.
 
Only had time for one multi match. It's been a WHILE since I played CoD. Anyway, the menus are fucking crazy. Is there just straight up deathmatch?
