Game is cross-gen so kind of expected but you can never be so sure. Nice to have a confirmation.

Callisto snipping the rats.
Sign, just because two incompetent games failed to deliver 60 fps, people are now genuinely worrying 30 fps only future.
Gonna just call it here, most games incoming will still offer fidelity/performance mode options.
Well, I am optimistic, as I don't see much open world games on the horizon will surpass the scale of Cyberpunk 2077 or graphic fidelity of Forbidden West.Open world games will struggle for sure. This game seems like a lot of corridors and tight spaces.

They're not incompetent games. They just have incompetent developers.Sigh, just because two incompetent games failed to deliver 60 fps, people are now genuinely worrying 30 fps only future.

Yeah totally, I loved the first plague tale game, and the Requiem looks promising, but I am gonna hold off for now. They're not incompetent games. They just have incompetent developers.
I must admit, the 30fps mob while no doubt in the minority are pretty vocal, which concerns me that devs will pay attention to these nut jobs.Sigh, just because two incompetent games failed to deliver 60 fps, people are now genuinely worrying 30 fps only future.

There are dozens of them.I must admit, the 30fps mob while no doubt in the minority are pretty vocal, which concerns me that devs will pay attention to these nut jobs.
Really perplexed about that mentality. What most framerate folks ask is a high fps option, not eliminating the fidelity mode; but the other side just don't seem to want people to have options. The current gen consoles are capable of providing both options, why oppose that?I must admit, the 30fps mob while no doubt in the minority are pretty vocal, which concerns me that devs will pay attention to these nut jobs.

Definitely not opposed to fidelity mode for people who want that. Just don't want 30fps only to creep up on us this gen.Really perplexed about that mentality. Hell no. No excuse for either but especially Gotham Knights (huge publisher/big developer team). Neither one of those games should be taxing these consoles it's just pure developer laziness at its finest. Incompetence and/or laziness. Neither is using RT and there's no way they couldn't have scales a couple settings down to have a performance mode.I mean yes its a very linear corridor based game, if somehow this cross-gen game lacked a 60 FPS mode, we would be truly fucked lol
At least with both Plague Tale and Gotham Knights there is the excuse that they're big expansive games.
Why, when so many other games are doing it better and going the extra step? If not the devs who's to blame? It's not like Gotham Nights Is a technical marvel. That would be understandable.Horizon FW being open world and cross gen looks absolutely amazing though.
No offense, but I hate that devs work hard for years and have to hear comments like this.
120FPS or no buy.
Aye man don't you lock refresh to 30hz ?
You are just to dense to understand jokes Mr. Jury Tampering.

Gamers are too soft on developers these days. They're even charging $70 so the least we should expect is a fidelity and performance option.
Calling it developer laziness is ridiculous. Game developers are absolutely not lazy, and it's ridiculous to argue that they are. It's not always as simple as reducing a couple of settings and there you go, performance mode.Hell no. No excuse for either but especially Gotham Knights (huge publisher/big developer team). If you think gaffers are soft with devs, never visit reeee, you get a ban if you even talk about devs laziness. Why, when so many other games are doing it better and going the extra step? If not the devs who's to blame? It's not like Gotham Nights Is a technical marvel. That would be understandable.
