I personally wasn't feeling the atomsphere. That's just me though. It's not close to Dead Space in my opinion. It's not shit but it's just different. I don't feel "horror" in this game as I would Alien Isolation or Dead Space. Thanks for posting your impressions bro. By the look of it sounds to be way too jank, and not the cool kind of jank.
I think I'll wait for a deep sale. How the atmosphere and tone? Is it close to Dead Space? Or is it shit too?
Both run better on Ps5Calisto Protocol and Ragnarok are similar caliber confirmed
in 2022 people still looking reviews?
I'm stoped looking reviews since 2010, beacuse reviews from noob journalist always bad, they just need one click games
Lots of people say otherwise though? Is this a sarcasm I'm not getting?Lmfao the steam deck can't run it

They most likely wanted to get the game out before Dead Space by any means. Probably thought they can just release a patch to fix the performance issues post launch.Getting hurt in the Steam reviews, gonna take a while to recover from this. I don't understand why they thought they could get away with this? there is no way they didn't run into stutters when they tested it.
Still warrioring!!!!Calisto Protocol and Ragnarok are similar caliber confirmed
What Ragnarok has to do with this thread? Or the fact that you hyped up some broken mediocrity hurts you so much?By the way, everyone making funny ahaha jokes about this 7.5 never forget that your baby Ragnarok got a 7 from Edge (The Institution). A 7! Now sit down and cry, boys!
Edge will give Callisto a 4
Actually it’s not, I remember there was part when you go through bridge and you see bunch of enemies cones at both side, this part that framerate has huge drop.
I did a refund on the series X and got Midnight Suns.
Tlou2 sections with the infected on grounded are LITERALLY survival horror material. It’s fucked up because besides Resident Evil I can’t think of any other big horror games at this level. It always seemed a dangerous release to me taking into account that Evil Within 1 and 2 never got the most amazing reception. For fans of horror games like myself it’s a shame. But hey, it’s released and from the 2 hours I played it hits all the right notes.
We’re stuck with PT clones, Bloober and Resident Evil.
But they’re not really horror games, are they Gym? They’re more like action-adventure games in a post-apocalyptic setting with zombies, yes. They don’t have that constant dread inducing atmosphere or music, and the character drama is really not horror related. My opinion, of course.Tlou2 sections with the infected on grounded are LITERALLY survival horror material.
We can just hope for tlou3 and dead space remake being a success.
Yeah i know, but if you only pick the part with infected, they are identical to your average survival horror structure. But they’re not really horror games, are they Gym? ND should really go all in the survival horror aspect of TLOU. Not to lose focus from the narrative but make that part of the narrative where the point is, no matter how shitty the situation character wise is, they have a bigger thing to deal with.Tlou2 sections with the infected on grounded are LITERALLY survival horror material.

It looks to be reviewing quite well, and I’m down for a new turned based strategy game. Damn you Advance Wars!
Your right and if companies would release demos like they use to then people could make a better decision about whether to buy the game regardless of reviews. Especially companies who hype their game so much like these devs did. If they truly believe in their game they would have no problem putting a demo out.Do not let review scores dissuade you. That goes for anybody who was looking forward to the game. Judge for your damn self. I hate to see people skip games over the opinions of 30-70 people out of all the billions of people on the planet. They are not an authority on what you will find fun.
Amen to that. Demos were fantastic during the 360 era. Even XBLA and XBLIG had demos (or trials).Your right and if companies would release demos like they use to then people could make a better decision about whether to buy the game regardless of reviews. Review from someone who actually finished the game:
To be honest, UE4 games (most of them) are usually fine on my PC too. I think because i play on a 60hz TV, and my gpu isnt 99% constantly, i think that helps with loading stutter. People who play with unlocked framerate always seem to get much more stuttering. How did this guy have no stutters? Second playthrough?
Oh, sorry yea I just meant for BOTH games. It looks to be reviewing quite well, and I’m down for a new turned based strategy game. Damn you Advance Wars!
I’m 100% gonna get it down the line. Looks like I made the right choice too, with the Seties X version being bugged too.
I have little problems with stutters too, even at more than 60fps.To be honest, UE4 games (most of them) are usually fine on my PC too. yes! there are dozens of us!...I have no problem with a game that rates a seven. Some of my favourite games reviewed averagely.
I do have a problem at this asking price though.
you left out:Reading anything to do with topic, it usually comes down to three reasons gamers come up with why demos disappeared:
1. It costs too much to make
2. Social media and YT videos make it so gamers can just watch a demo and thats good enough
3. Hope gamers blindly buy their shit game on day one before game reviews come out (ie. make the embargo date as late as possible)
tell me how it isAll the marketing, star power and tech couldn't save this game for shit.
My pc version is installing now. I need to see how rough this gets... .
Cant' they just cut a part of the game and make a demo with that?Amen to that. Demos were fantastic during the 360 era. Even XBLA and XBLIG had demos (or trials).
Try the game out. If it sucks, avoid. If it's great, buy it. I bought probably 20 XBLIG because it was a good game after testing the demo (amazingly some of those $1 games are better than $10-15 XBLA).
For me, I buy less games now for numerous reasons (I dont game as much anymore, I just leach off Game Pass etc...). But no demos is another reason. I'm not risking wasting money on a potentially shit game which has ZERO history. At least for games like Diablo or COD, I'll buy them as I know exactly what to expect. But for brand new IPs, you'd think every studio would be uploading demos that are 10 minutes long or level one.
But most dont. It's like with the age of digital purchases and everyone having an itching trigger finger to backlog up games, they just throw the game out there hoping gamers just blindly buy them.
That might work for some people. Not me.

Someone didn't get the tools on time. His reflection is too embarrassed to be on xbox that's why it hid away.
