I'm not even sure it's possible to cancel a Walmart online order after the first 30 minutes. I tried cancelling the Ghost Recon order I made on Friday. Sent them an email on Saturday and still haven't heard back from them.

You can't cancel AT ALL, not even if you call them.

I think it might get worse to be honest,

I'm still living off of e3 deals from 2014 39-45 dollars

2015 54 dollars
2016 60+ dollars
2017 70+ dollars maybe?

I'm not a betting man i'll take the 20% or up to 30$ its risk free for now

and if it does get better you bet I'll reorder =)

Given that Amazon has just been repeating what BB did the previous year... I'd say it was our last year with these deals.

I'm sure it will. I need to not be a crazy person and buy it on launch day (and then proceed to not actually getting round to it at a point in time when it's dropped in price by half, like I did with FFX on PS3 and PS4, haha).

It's worth it to just wait a bit. I imagine it'll be $39 by next summer.

If Amazon gives us a 25$ gift card on each game we buy next year, I'll be happy. Best Buy just doesn't let you use those online, which makes the deal worthless to me.

Amazons pretty put up every game I want for preorder, the only thing missing is Yakuza 0, which I doubt they'll be putting up today, but I wait to put my order in just in case.

So at Amazon if I pick one-day shipping but I pick the group all items into one shipment option, will they actually wait until the very last game comes out? It's much, much cheaper shipping than having them all ship as they become available. I'm just wondering what would happen.

What I was told regarding this selection last year was that they only will group items if they have a similar release window. If games are months or several weeks apart they will ship individually as they come out.

Yeah what has me wondering is that they changed the wording from group in as few shipments as possible to ship when entire order is ready. 😞

Part of how Amazon functions as a webstore is that they must keep inventory rolling. By necessity they have to store things but their goal is to store things for as short a time period as possible. So they have their own internal formula on how much it costs to keep stuff versus how much it costs to ship it out.

Something like keeping games on your order for a year is virtually impossible - at some point they will just ship stuff out, even individually.

looks like Nioh and Yakuza 0 will not be up for preorder :( I am surprised that Sony didn't at least show Gravity and Nioh at the conference, there is only like 2 JP games at their conference which doesn't even look like JP games.

Well during the Sony live streams, we did get some new gameplay, when devs had a sit down, talking about the game and what was new. As for Nioh, we got a new trailer and news of a beta coming in August. I wish pre orders opened up but I guess it wasn't meant to be for now.

yeah, I send the yt links for yakuza and Nioh and gravity to amazon and told them to forward the msg to the right department. Only Gravity pop up so far, they might see the bestbuy link for Gravity as a competition but not the others. Too bad they didn't match the price...

Try to give them a call, that's what I did in the past. Got the order cancelled straightaway.

Sea of thieves is 39.99 but it also seems to apply 20% off on top of that.

and its a cross play title so you get the pc copy too.

Ended up being 36.78 with tax for me , in QC with our high taxes.

Hey guys, I ordered 3 games with the 20% discount

I entered a prepaid card on it, thinking that I could change the payment method later once I get my credit card ( and I read on their help site that it's possible to do so)

Now my problem is that now I want to change the payment method from the prepaid card to my credit card, but I don't have the option to do it.. when I try to edit nothing happens and I actually don't have the options to do so

Am I screwed? If I cancel the order and remake a new one will I still get the discount?

(also, side question: if I remake the order I should check the box that says ''ship them one by one as they come out'', right? not when the whole order is ready?)

Sorry... first time ordering on amazon so i'm confused. Hopefully I didn't mess it up :/

Is Amazon obligated to adjust their price on Titanfall 2 because Wal Mart has? Getting it at $50 plus the 20% extra discount would be awesome!

Contact support (chat is most convenient) if it's not letting you change payment method. I recently reported my credit card lost and got a new one with different number and everything, had to update a bunch of orders. I was able to change most except for 3 orders where it just wouldn't let me change the payment method.

contacted support, got it done within a couple of minutes.

ended up canceling the order and retrying, it worked and I still got the deals

And NOW i'm able to edit my payment methods.. weird, I guess it was a glitch

This is why we all have to start pounding their "tell us about a lower price". I hope people are doing this right now, there's a chance we may get them to match if enough people get them to take notice

I suspect I may wind up with one within ~18 months.

I'd like to get a PS4 now. But the price just hasn't come down as much as I was hoping, and while I routinely see killer Xbox One deals, I've not seen nearly as many for the PS4. So I'm torn. At this point, I may just hold out. We'll see.

Another silly question about bestbuy.ca:

Is there any negative consequence if I place two separate orders?

For example, let's say I made one order pre-ordering these games: Mafia 3, Sea of Thieves, South Park, and Forza Horizon 3.

What would happen if I made a second order pre-ordering Titanfall 2?

Do I get the 25x rewards points on both sets of orders? So Mafia 3, Sea of Thieves, South Park, and Forza Horizon 3 and Titanfall2?

If you have your heart set on a PS4, and do plan to get a Neo, then just wait it out. Save as much as you can and wait. Once the Neo hits, I suspect the vanilla PS4 will see more frequent price drops. From time to time, the cheapest you might find one new, or on sale, is around $350-$375. It's kinda rare now but it has happened.

If you can afford it, I would say just go for it! Why deprive yourself of the fun in order to wait for the Neo. You can always sell the PS4 and 'eat' the loss, which you could argue isn't a loss if you really enjoy your time with it for the next year or so before Neo comes out and you get your 4K TV.
