I would like to read about deals in this thread; it has been a source of good info in the past.
I've shared my shipping travails on this thread before, so I won't tell anyone not to do it. It's cathartic to share your experience, good or bad, when waiting for the arrival of a greatly anticipated game.
When I realized that this thread was going to get drowned in PS4 shipping posts and updates I stayed away as I'm waiting to get a PS4 next year and so I knew that nothing would interest me here.
I was surprised to see that people are still posting about it today. Shipping delays for a Friday release suck, I hope everyone still waiting gets their system soon.

Things will cool down this coming December. Just two more weeks until next gen hype goes down.
I just ordered it with shipping to my nearest store so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping. $19.95 including taxes is nice.

I think it only works on books because it wouldn't apply to the DS4 when I tried earlier.

I think you need to re-read the thread title, and pay special attention to the "discussion" part of it
I actually like this discussion, it gives me a good idea of what to expect when it comes to ordering online and how the in-store situation is.
And It's not as if anyone's being prevented from posting deals(and people are posting deals sporadically)

So apparently the Canada Post truck with my PS4 has gone missing. This is what I was told by the mail clerk. It would explain why my delivery was sent out at 10am this morning but has yet to show up FIVE HOURS LATER.
I am trying to determine what exactly would cause an entire truck to go missing. Either it was hijacked by the mob, or the driver is out having a five hour coffee break, or is lying face down in a ditch somewhere in Etobicoke.

Usually you can pick stuff up without a slip. Just need ID to confirm your address and name.

Just received my backup ps4 from amazon. Can I return it to eb or does it have to be returned to Amazon. Ppl I know want to buy it off me but I dont feel right about potentially selling then a faulty amazon system.
