i'm pretty sure you can still use those ebgames $40 knack coupons until january anyway, so that one isn't really a big deal.

Yup, you'll definitely find individual parts for sale. Keep an eye out for the Canada Computers flyer and watch the NCIX and Memory Express sites on Christmas Eve; those are your best bets for getting PC parts for cheap during Boxing Day. Do some research beforehand, though--you really need to know what you want in a PC build because when the sales go live and present you with a giant mess of assorted motherboards/CPUs/graphics cards, you need to get what you need and get out before all the good stuff sells out. DS3s seem to be $40 pretty much everywhere right now--BB/FS have it for that price as well, as does the Source and EBGames. Walmart's selling them for $39.83 right now as well, I think.

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know the current pricing of blank CD-R's? I know DVD-R's and HDD's have pretty much rendered them obsolete, but they're still useful for burning music CD's and whatnot. I see NCIX has 50 Verbatim's for $14.

Yup and a lot want Canada to follow places like France where it's totally legal to be a prostitute but guys get crazy high fines and shit if they are caught using them (or that is what they are about to do soon, not following the topic too much!). I understand why you are lost!
I want Canada to make prostitution legal because it'll make people much, much safer. Legalize and support instead of criminalize and marginalize.
