I might be able to help a fellow gafer out with a Majora's Mask New 3DS XL pre-order at cost. I have one right now but, might end up going with the regular edition. No promises but, if you can't get one anywhere else let me know....now if only I could find the limited edition version of the game le sigh.
If I can't get one from BB/FS I'd be very interested.

I did for a bit, but didn't keep it. Most of the time, I'd just get games at the lower end of my queue, and it wasn't worthwhile.
I guess I'm gonna' have to buy a fucking charger for my New 3DS XL. I sold my 3DS, and figured the box would include a charger with this one, but stupid me for thinking that.

I used it for a bit a couple years ago. Being in Vancouver, the wait time for game to be mailed from Toronto was wayyyyyy too long to justify the price. If you're closer to there, it might be more worth it. The wait time can also be a pain for newer games.

I am, there's a huge catalog now for the 3DS. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with a budget because I opted to get the n3DS early, so I won't be able to buy any games for a little bit

For those upgrading to the New 3DS XL, will you trading it in to EB Games for $100 credit, or taking your chances selling it on Craigslist/eBay? Does EB allow you to do a system transfer in store when upgrading?

These won't work with New 3DS XL because while they may fit, the additional shoulder button makes it so the charge contacts don't align.

These charging stands are what you'll be looking for. Hopefully Nintendo's online store will sell them in NA too. But yeah, now I have obsolete OG 3DS charging dock and soon to be obsolete 3DS XL charging dock. Not sure I really want to spend $20 on another.

I swear I will riot if Sony raises the price on it again. I really want one but have been waiting for a better bundle with games I actually want or the price to go back down.
It's pretty stupid that when it finally does get a price drop it's likely to go back to the price it started at in Canada which is hardly a deal in my book.
I'm glad I'm not jumping into n3DS XL pool. I'm pissed off with Nintendo for giving choice by not giving one at all. If they release regular size, they will get my money.

If anyone wants to get a charger for even cheaper, you could do what I do for my secondary charger.
I bought something like this from ebay for $0.99 and I just use the AC adapter I have from my phone or that I got for my tablet and keep that in my bag. You can also find AC Adapters that plug into a USB for relatively cheap as well.
I carry this wire with me in my bag to charge my 3DS (in case it dies) at work.

The horror is not the bumped price, the horror is that the price tag will stay the same when CAD recovers, but I don't think that's the case for anytime soon.
Seriously if this trend keeps up the CAD might plummet under 80 cents US.
Edit: Are there any cases where retailers actually adjusted the prices of existing merch down due to a strengthening CAD? I'm not good with economics at all. So I'm just panicking here.

I kind of wish the Majora's Mask one had that same brush metal look, but in gold.
I actually prefer the Monster Hunter version. I would have jumped on something like that if it didn't have the logo.
I think there is a point we will reach when they will have to keep the price as is, despite the dollar. $74.99 might mean a loss of a lot of business.
Also, avoid Gamerama at Yonge and Eglinton. They have a weak selection, a messy store and I have encountered poor customer service there on more than one occasion. The new day manager seems better but I haven't seen a turn around in the quality of the store as a result.
Game Mania at Bloor and Keele is really good. I need to give them more of my business. Great retro selection.

Target's failure is that they sit at where Walmart sits at. Walmart in the US is seen as the shittier, trashier store, and Target survived as being the cleaner, more well managed places. Unfortunately for them, Walmart Canada isn't as trashy, and that stigma just isn't there. People won't switch over to "a better store" because to most, it's the same (if not pricier)
