God I hate that Amazon.ca uses Intelcom for shipments. They "delivered" an item today that I ordered to my store I work at (wirelesswave) to a Telus store on the other side of the mall.

Luckily the guys there saw that I included WirelessWave in the addressee and they brought it to me.

The worst part, Intelcom tracking says it was signed for by me, and has a forged signature done by the driver. (I asked the Telus guys if anyone signed for it and they said no)

Just a tip for people so it doesn't happen to them.

If you're planning on keeping your prime sub going monthly after a trial ends make sure you do it BEFORE it ends. Amazon US CS had no idea how to give me back monthly prime sub at $10.99 and told me that I had to sign up for a year and they'd switch it to monthly before I was charged.

I lost $10 in exchange because he failed to stop the charge before he switched it and then proceeded to bill me another $10.99 US for a month. I intended to buy a month just so I could keep the prime savings on my Zelda ME and now I'm paying the same as I would've before this.

Just a bit of a rant. Now hopefully my PO Box doesn't steal this package as well.

If you'd prefer it to always be Canada Post (like me), just put "P.O. BOX 0" in the second address line and amazon's system forces it to go through Canada Post. An amazon rep told me to do this a while ago and it's worked great.

Wouldn't that mean you aren't qualified for certain shipping speeds? Canada Post never handles same/next day shipping for me.

I honestly can't recall trying 1-day shipping since I started doing this, so I'm not sure. The standard prime 2-day shipping has been fine though. I've also had release-date delivery for games.

Sweet, I'm starting to get more and more into iTunes, love building a library there. It's just nicer than Microsoft/Google's stores for digital media for me, having Apple devices helps too I suppose.

I just wish they iTunes would get 4k digital copies soon, and that future UHD releases would come with 4K codes.

Someone posted a link in this thread explaining how Intelcom works. You basically get paid on the number of packages successfully delivered. Not surprising they are trying to do shady stuff so they are "delivered".

Pffffft, it took them this long to finally include digital HD copies instead of SD.
We will have 8K UHD when they finally give out digital 4K copies.

I just hope by the time Disney does 4K releases of all their animated films that we will get 4K digital copies. :/

If I were a betting man, I'd say physical 4K dies before Disney pits anything out, and they go straight to digital.

I've seen no signs that 4K UHD is actually gaining any traction as a format.

I just want one more physical format, don't mind if 4K dies if it means 8k as a final physical format. ;p

I am sick of rebuying stuff every format gen anyway. Hah

My iPhone 6's battery is getting worse and worse, yesterday it was draining while plugged in... . Inaccurate readings, display turns off by itself when using Google Maps, why is September so far away ;_;

Ys 8 (PS4 and Vita) are up on Amazon, no prime discount yet

Same with Culdcept and it's 55$ instead of the 60$ stated by NISA so you should get your orders in quick if you want to save a little bit.

Again the prime discount isn't applied yet (but will be once active, as usual)

Is Shoppers Drug Mart worth shopping at? I live about 10 feet away from one but haven't really used it much. I do most of my shopping at Sobey's, since it is also close to my apartment and obviously has a lot more products available.

I've been reading about the bonus optimum points days and I'm guessing that's the big draw for people. Does it really pay off though?

Shoppers is the best. Only thing is their non-sale prices for groceries and things tend to be kind of extravagant. But their sale prices are highly competitive and they have good deals every week.

I have a question from people who ever pre-ordered on Bestbuy.ca: Recently my credit card was stolen, I cancelled it and got a new one. The same credit card that I used was for my Switch pre-order, how can (Or is it possible at all) I change the payment method on the site?

You can. Click on order status on top of the site and log in. click on your order # to go to the order details.

When you on the order details, click on change payment information right below the PAYMENT heading on the right column below order summary.

this is the best tv you can get other than a LG OLED, which are significantly more expense. reason I am selling - I relocated out of Canada and to seattle, and don't feel like hauling it across the country. hardly got to use this thing
