Capcom Spotlight Stream Announced - Thursday, June 26, 2025 Streaming from 3PM (PDT) | MH Wilds, RE Requiem, Pragmata, SF6

If RE9 is going to be a primarily Leon game, I'd assume they'd want to get that information out sooner rather than later. I'm sure there are a good % of players that weren't interested the moment it looked like it was going to be primarily first person horror playing as the new character.
It has a selectable camera. You can choose first person or third person. The behind closed doors demo only featured Ashcroft.

You're missing what I'm saying. There are a subset of gamers that don't want to play as a woman being helpless in a mansion. Get it now?

This revelation has potentially put me off of one of my most anticipated games. Having to solve a puzzle every time you hack a robot to fight them doesn't sound like fun, but a chore and repetitive. I hope this sounds worse than it actually is.

Yeah I don't know who green lit that as being a good idea. Out of the big 3 Capcom games coming this is at the bottom of that list for me.

If there is nothing for Switch 2 then I'll wonder what's gone so wrong between the companies that they don't want more money.
I was very surprised to see no re at launch. There's so many they can put on switch. It's easy money.

i liked the 3rd person in Village , hell i only brought the game when 3rd person was announced lol

Yeah, it was OK and elevated a 7/10 game to a 8.5 for me personally - still not a patch to a "proper" TP camera like in 2Re, 3Re and 4Re though...

I'll catch up later given time zone and priorities but I am not expecting much with what's already been said and behind closed doors. Maybe a few snippets of information for next event. Main thing for me is if get to see more Pragmata footage, that'd be nice.

whats the time in europe? going to see imagine dragons tonight with wife so if its something like 10pm or something i will watch it later

Dogmabros, if there are no dogmanews I'll godsbane my ass out of this shitty loop.

I don't think they've ever actually announced a new game or a surprise at one of these, your expectations should be exactly what they've said they'll show

Definitely gonna need a demo for Pragmata. It looks like it could interesting but I'm not sold on the combat.

I think I like Pragmata. It seems to be more about exploration and puzzles than I thought. Maybe hacking enemies mid battle can lead to some fun stuff. But it can get tedious as it got in NieR Automata.

The puzzles right in combat completely kills this game for me.
I've heard from impressions at SGF that this puzzle/combat combo, somehow not only works, but works very well to being really fun.

I think they need to release a demo for gamers on the fence.

Well there'll be a public hands-on in August's Gamescom so more feedback on it coming.
If it's something fluid and you're not getting stuck constantly and have to repeat, maybe it ends up being cool.

Really sucks that I'm not interested in almost anything Capcom is putting out these days. They used to be one of my favs.

Some damn nice Requiem info dropped. Gotta check out the additional developer interviews they're sharing on the Capcom portal.
