In-house QA, you don't say. Same with Witcher 3 I presume......These guys need to spend some money to assure game quality especially after consoles made them make bank with Witcher 3......You could clearly see that their games have very poor QA, even the PC version which is their bread and butter is very unoptimized, filled with bugs and crashes........Poor Ryzen utilization, no DXR support on AMD hardware, when they had a statement saying they have no dedication to NV RT.......These guys seem to be twisting the truth quite a bit from what they show/say to what they deliver....
Who's to blame here? The gamer for pushing for a release, or CDPR for falling prey to the demand?
Gamer's did not push for a release.....This game has been in dev for 7 years, announced for last gen consoles.....The last gen generation is done, the new generation is here and the game is not ready for both last gen consoles and current gen consoles. Think about this for a minute.....The game is not even ready for PC, where a 3090 struggles to run this at a stable 60fps at 4K without DLSS, where the Ryzen CPU is not properly supported and there is no RT on AMD GPU's.....Things redditors and modders discovered in mere hours of owning the game, buggy A.i, low interactivity, low physics, bad side missions.....So what were they doing for 7 years exactly, after several delays and yet this is the state of the game? No one is to blame here but CDPR, because they spoke a very assured and reassuring game prior to release too, they said everything was fine across all platforms. The lie detector proved, what we all know...
The media oversold what they saw behind closed doors, CDPR preyed on this hype, but it has now backfired. I can see people retiring after this.....This is not the first time this company have released a game in a woeful state at launch, but it may be the last time it happens if they want to stay and be profitable in this industry.......Even Bethesda's back broke with Fallout 76, gamers and reviewers will only take such awful and buggy releases for a time. I think the gaming community will be less tolerant to such releases going forward.... ...I mean 7 years.......
WTF?
Is she retweeting this to gloat?
She just got fucking hired to be in the game?
WTF? At least if you are hired by them, shut up and let them ride the storm out.
You want to be the retard woke chick that throws your employer under the bus for quick clicks?
Ok, good luck.
Alanah Works for Sony. I think this is the lowest score from IGN in a hot minute. She has done her job for them, she is allowed to have a reaction on what's happening with console reviews......Though I do wonder, if gamers did not protest this and make so much noise, would IGN really give this score. They may not be doing it because their review system dictates it, but because they want gamers to trust them again.....The game even on PC is a bug fest, unoptimized, lacks interactivity, low A.I and physics, they pointed out many technical issues in their review, minus the in-game ones like A.i, lack of interactivity etc, but still gave it a 9......Either way IGN cannot be trusted for consistency.....
