I wonder if he really that ignorant or just salty? 😁
So many millions lost sales because of emulation. Well, no. But I'd like to be a fly at Nintendo too, for 1001 other reasons.
It was sarcasm of course.I can't tell if you're being serious or not. Millions? Please. I think you are grossly overestimating how many people emulate without owning or intending to buy. If Nintendo is losing so many millions of sales, it's not because of emulation, I promise you that.
It was sarcasm of course.
do i need to do something special to play twilight princes HD? Mine is glitched a lot, it's unplayable (mostly because of weird graphics)
At this point it's just a good tradition. Would feel like something is off if you could go for a few pages without someone alleging that everyone in the thread is stealing stuff. Can all this piracy and Nintendo losing sales bs be left out of this thread please? Why are you even here when the topic clearly says emulating games? No one here cares and no need for trolling.
I'm sure Exzap has already seen memory dumps and logs from BOTW and already has ideas as to what is broken.
We can see the game is running, because the little picture of the save game location is flashing. It's just hung there. It could be something with the Gamepad. It could be the game is trying to load from the non-existent mandatory install file. Who knows right now. Let's wait for the game to be released and then the Cemu team can actually start working on getting it to work.
I don't understand the hype about CEMU since you can't really play through games instead of 1 or 2 titles.
Actually when I did my logs and sent it to him checked it's just failing to see a message from the OS so it spams it a few million times before hanging. That it also just doesn't stop reading the save data so there's that.
i like how the actual dev says straight up they have no idea why some games crash, but lets just ignore that and insist he can figure out why it doesnd load quickly.
Logs can provide possible reasons, and the dev was talking in general, not about Zelda specifically, since they didn't even start looking into it yet.i like how the actual dev says straight up they have no idea why some games crash, but lets just ignore that and insist he can figure out why it doesnd load quickly.
LMAO, how long haven't you looked at CEMU?
Super Mario 3D World is basically perfect and runs at 4k without issues
MK 8 too
Captain Toad too
Bayonetta 2 basically only has some audio issues to solve, is otherwise completely playable, even at 4k.
Xenoblade X is also completely playable and quite improved on 1.7.2
Wind Waker HD is also working great
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze had some bugs worked out recently, now works pretty well at full speed
That's,like, the majority of the worthwhile library right there working ranging from just fine to great. Many other titles seem relatively close to be playable as well.

I am using 1.72, Bayonetta got some serious stuttering problem, is there a setting I am missing? I have a i7 4790k + GF970
The first one was already been proven false. The second is unlikely to hold true for long. Try again.
Pretty minor stuff compared to being able to preserve games forever and run them at much higher fidelity than they could originally be originally.
Don't blame Nintendo's fucking shitty decisions on emulation.
And go away. If you don't like emulation, stay away from the thread and don't shitpost it up. It's fucking annoying to have corporate apologists coming with this dumb talk in every emulation thread.
It can afaik. Can CEMU simulate the motion controls of the gamepad?
Because if not

You mean the piracy thread? No one already owns zelda. Anyone doing a boot is pirating it. And anti-piracy measures can end up hurting those who are not pirates in the long run.

Yeah so I guess some puzzles will be locked out. At least one.
It already does, right click and drag on the screen.
I said that it can
Right click the screen and drag to simulate gyro.
I'll be able to play my copy on the Wii U when it arrives, but with so many other games I need to play through, I'm seriously considering waiting it out to see what kind of shape it's in on Cemu in a few weeks. I don't know if I'm strong enough, but the fact that it's already able to boot is making me consider this.

You can't play Zelda with the Wii U Pro Controller from start to finish?
Because it's listed on the back of the cover with no special notice.
So how far along is this now? I first was looking at the project when most games didn't run any sound didn't work at all.
Xenoblade Chronicles X barely runs at full speed on a very, very high end PC.
Is Tokyo Mirage Sessions playable now?
Considering that BoTW is pretty much pushing the Wii U to its limit, I don't think any PC will be able to emulate it at full speed, even if the game itself eventually runs. Xenoblade Chronicles X barely runs at full speed on a very, very high end PC.
I'd just stick to playing it on the console. If it's a good enough game and Cemu makes a lot of progress, then perhaps consider going back to it for a second playthrough via emulation.
Lol. No and noConsidering that BoTW is pretty much pushing the Wii U to its limit, I don't think any PC will be able to emulate it at full speed, even if the game itself eventually runs. Xenoblade Chronicles X barely runs at full speed on a very, very high end PC.
Xenoblade Chronicles X currently runs at full 30fps speed with plenty of overhead for 4k.
As someone whose assessed its performance every single month since June of last year, there are no more scenarios I can find that don't constantly hit 30fps.
what computer technology are you running? how many gigahertz?
Of course its gonna fucking chug macbooks dgpu is really whatever. Cpu aint that hot eitherHow does smash 4 run on everyone's rigs? My macbook 2016 with dgpu chugs pretty hard :/
will it be possible for me to play Pikmin 3 using the mouse as my control method (via either Wii Remote pointer emulation or Gamepad touch emulation)?

Why? Easily accessible piracy for Wii U has existed since long before CEMU. (And it's still much more accessible)I'd say rom releases most certainly have to do with CEMU
This. Hacking a Wii U is stupidly easy, anyone with a Wii U has a method for loading pirated games as easy if not more as setting up Cemu. Why? Easily accessible piracy for Wii U has existed since long before CEMU. (And it's still much more accessible)
I have an i7 6700k @4.5 GHz and Xenoblade X never drops a single frame with a shader cache installed. Only little bugs remain (bad lighting etc)Xenoblade X runs almost flawlessly with 30 fps at 4k on my GTX 970, i5-4670k@4.0Ghz combo. Not sure what that poster is on about.
they literally said "well, no"...It's unfortunate that it's really hard to tell sometimes when it comes to Nintendo.
