To use a larger cache when using Nvidia cards, you are going to need 16 gb+ ram with a decent paged size.
Yeah, the grass adds fine rather subtle details which makes the grounds look much more lively. If it were casting shadows the result may well look cluttered instead. They really nailed the grass in it not looking odd that it doesn't cast shadow even though so much other stuff does
Would there be no way to split the workload into smaller parts? Having to compile all shaders at once with such RAM requirement (whether due to driver bug or not) is insane. To use a larger cache when using Nvidia cards, you are going to need 16 gb+ ram with a decent paged size.
Spede2 said:Nvidia card? Try this:
Recompile all your shader cache data. First delete the shader cache of the game you want to run from the "Precompiled" folder, then delete the Nvidia cache folder under:
C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\NVIDIA\GLCache folder
Launch a game, let it compile, and ram usage should be under check. Worked for me.
Have you tried using 3.1.0?so did 1.7.4c break the hook? should i just roll back for BotW?
Have you tried using 3.1.0?
even with the 19k shader cache my game hangs often for like 1-2 sec just freezing, fps is a mess too. and flicker everywhere. does this only run good with a nvidia card?
Must've misread the compatible one - that works! Struggling to get the framelimiter working though, the game still lurches from normal speed to very fast.
Try rivatuner, just add cemu.exe, set 'framerate limit' to 30 and hit enter.
Yeah, having the grass ACCEPT shadows makes it look really grounded and natural while still looking clean. They really nailed the grass in it not looking odd that it doesn't cast shadow even though so much other stuff does

Can anyone recommend me a good control setup for this game using a 360 pad? I feel like the buttons I have mapped for other games (mario kart, mario 3d world, etc) are not great for this game at all.
What's the hook? Is that the "video" hack that increased framerates?
Yeah, that's what he's talking about. The vsync disabling thing that's now rolled into Cemu properCan anyone recommend me a good control setup for this game using a 360 pad? I feel like the buttons I have mapped for other games (mario kart, mario 3d world, etc) are not great for this game at all.

Given the progress this is making, I'm tempted to stop Zelda for a while and continue when it's fully playable on CEMU. I'm about 1/2 way through based on myand I know I won't go back to the game once finished.Divine Beast completion
Anyone else going to wait?

I'm also hoping that someone manages to mod away the weapon durability.
The performance I'm getting right now with all tweaks\hacks\etc is just borderline playable, but not very enjoyable. Getting freezes\hitches, as well as moments of sub 20 FPS gameplay. I rarely hit 30.
So yeah, I'll chip away at it while I play other games and hope that CEMU gets some performance optimizations. I'm not going to be able to get a new CPU\mobo anytime soon....

I get 30fps the vast majority of the time (6700k@4.2/1070) and I still, as of now, would rather play it on my Wii U than on Cemu
Even at 30 locked, it doesn't feel as smooth as the Wii U (when @30 also of course), and I pretty much tried everything (1.7.4c+cemuhook 3.0.1+17k shader cache, vsync off/on, via driver, triple buffering, half vsync, capped @30 with RTSS etc)
Frametimes are not consistent
Add to that the different glitches, freezes, stuck camera etc
Are you actually playing on a 4K monitor? If not, it's downsampling and a simple PrintScr will only output your monitors native resolution. Use Shift + PrtScr in Cemu to do a full resolution screenshot. Also, the games ugly post AA might look irritating, use the modded shader posted somewhere on the last pages to disable it.Is there a way to confirm the game is actually running at 4K with the graphics pack? It doesn't look clear to me when I do full screen. Took a couple screenshots and they're just 1080p like my monitor.

Saw a clip of someone getting really good results w/ Pentium G4560 and a GTX 1050. Pretty impressive for such a cheap CPU.
I really wish emulators could be coded to take more advantage of multithreaded processors but alas..
Is RPCS3 designed for single-core performance or multi-threaded performance?
RPCS3 is designed to make use of as many threads as possible. This means that processors such as Intel's 8 core, 16 thread 6900K or AMD's 8 core, 16 thread Ryzen 7 1700X will benefit greatly for emulating games at higher speeds. CPUs such as the Intel Core i7-7700K and the AMD FX 8320 will suffice but will not perform equally as well as a processor with more cores and threads.
RPCS3 (a PS3 emulator) takes advantage of 8+ threads.

lmao, let me guess, you think that disabling the timer shit in MGSV is also "breaking the game" and "objectionable"Nothing like breaking the game by making it easier.
