I'm assuming Florida/UGA was one of those games that CBS announced they would air before the season starts? If not, then lol at whatever fool chose that over Auburn/Ole Miss.
I guess because even though Florida sucks, it's still one of the top rivalries in CFB. Honestly, I'm surprised too.

I'm so shocked at this.

@Mark_Schlabach: Nathan Prince, the attorney for FSU RB Karlos Williams' pregnant girlfriend, said she asked TPD to stop pursuing the domestic assault case

Hopefully, that's because it didn't actually happen, though my fear is that it's related to approximately 800 million harrassing phone calls, messages, and death threats from fans, not to mention possible pressure from unnamed people associated with the university.

It's got to be the latter. I mean, yeah she could have made it up, but if she did, shouldn't post about it on social networks like she did.
The PD there basically has to keep pursuing this to try and get their name out of the mud.
They'll pursue it as far as they can but you heard her attorney, there are no witnesses. And if she's backing out there is no case. I'm no lawyer, but it seems like this is a dead end unless he confesses on his own or she changes her mind.

One thing I liked about the BCS was that a major component, the computers, were unbiased. A committee is more prone to outside influences and its almost like ESPN is preying on that fact even more so

I've said this for a long time. Not everyone agrees, however.

Still, the computer runs on strength of schedule, which is kind of the main sticking point for these arguments, no?

yeah, until it becomes inconvenient to argue on strength of schedule (i.e. 2011), in which case, ???

also, "BCS Standings" (how do I make this thing formatted right in code)

holy there are a lot of boring match ups here

Im anxious to see how the next rankings are. Are they going to do the dumb thing of current coaches/AP poll of where you can only move up if people lose? Or will we see significant shakeups?

I actually don't really see anything wrong with that poll stuff will sort itself out starting this weekend with either ole miss of Auburn being eliminated.

Oregon has wins over 2 of the CFP's top 25 and has played 3. Ole Miss has 1 win and played 2. STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE THOUGH!
