Wow, that crafting feature is some Gumi-level generosity.
Maybe if you happen to have any of their arcana it's actually useful, but if you think you're just going to run the quests to get the weapons, think again.
The lowest weapons require 30+ fragments, and you get *ONE* fragment for 60 AP by running the quests, which you can only do once daily because the fragments are weapon specific.
Also, it determines your eligibility for the arcana by whether you actually have that arcana right now, not if you've ever had it, unlike the quests.
I'd be curious if any of you find it more useful, but personally, I'm not touching that feature again any time soon.

Still no Mei. I think I'm on attempt 40 something. I've only used a couple of stamina fruit so far and at least I can auto 2x speed everything but the 10th wave boss. Just have to watch and make sure no one sneaks through.
On the subject of the new content I'd always rather have more things to do than I can reasonably complete. I like having to decide how to use my AP best at any given time. That said, most of this new stuff can wait until after this current event so I'll keep trying for Mei.
Regarding the blacksmithing I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it generally takes specific SSR characters to do the crafting. I guess it's nice that there's at least a way to get the items by grinding in the forest, but I doubt it's going to be even remotely efficient. Oh well, I guess I'll put Lolleta to work on something. I only ever use her on weekends anyways.

It's the two seconds at the end, when the boss is lying nose-to-dirt. My mind is tricked every time into thinking there's an additional split-second delay whilst my phone labors to bring the 4th chest into existence. Then... arrgghh fu!
I'm happy to see additional content but it might start to exclude f2p who will need to start choosing how they spend their daily AP.
I'm not putting in much effort to get Mei atm, after over grinding for Selene. Will be lucky to get just one copy by the end of week.
(Most?) Important arcana to solo a demon raid up to lvl 200, and do 6 digits damage.
Damn. Maybe more useful to me than Lilith.
She is only part of the team. You need a second buffer like Roxanna who is currently available in the event gatcha. Also v2 will have Treelancia as the raid healer. Lilith is still the best healer, but Treelancia has heal + atk buff.

It appears Gumi has misunderstood the word "Celebration". I really can't fathom what they were thinking - this event is miserable at best. Every time I kill that two-sword wielding bastard and don't get anything, I sure feel like celebrating.
I know that feeling all too well. And it only seems to happen to me whenever all 4 chests drop in a single run.
In other news after 60 something runs I finally got Mei. Wooooooooo!!! Now to get 4 more!

Well, she's an archer, they don't generally do a lot in v1. Especially if you have her at LB0, she's worse than Tigre.
There's also a lack of good bows.
It seems the Mei grind is far worse then the Selene grind. 40 fruits would easily net you a top 1500 spot and an MLB Selene. Glad I'm skipping Mei

Threw some rings at the gacha since its her last day and huzzah! Not crazy enough right now to try and max LB her though.
Too bad I'm still failing at that last chance fortune ring character event quest though.

If you're talking about the mage, she does full damage on melee.

Well at least the quest drops knight enhancers and I'm trying to build up a knight team somehow to tackle the story events. Still in the middle of Thousands Island though, really stalled after I reached rank 30 in March.
Alfin? She's a melee mage and seems pretty good and taking stuff down. Her second skill seems helpful in giving her additional damage and HP recovery since she's a bit fragile.
I really encourage you to finish the story, at least book1, Marina v2 is really solid, and the rest of the bunch are good kizunas (Kain's poison immunity is so good). Kemono tavern is also a selling point lol.
Also, I don't mind switching leaders around if any of you needs it. All my Minoa friends switched to random leads, so I feel no need to please them with mine. Just let me know
She is actually the top 5th DPS-wise. I'm still levelling mine, but I just borrowed a friend's and damn, those 4.5k crits!

Yeah, just that I was starting to hit a wall in Thousands Island back then since my team was pretty terrible and I was pretty much rushing as quick as possible to reach rank 30, and then once events kept happening, I kept getting distracted, lol
I gotta say, the gauntlet is becoming my favorite farming spot. I think I farmed up over 100 prysma over the last two weeks, not to mention stamina fruit and enhancers.
Here is my team and its formation right before the last battle, if any of you are having trouble:
All mage team with Febrya acting as main dps and tank. I might end up resetting once or twice during the whole run if I end up unlucky with enemy specials. Whole run takes about 10-15 minutes. Hope this helps some of you

Sub heal seems to work for the enemy team though :/ Got a Chiyome down to just a sliver of HP before she killed my last person. She was the only enemy left in the party. Went in to finish her off and she was at full health coming out of the sub.
Same for me. I keep restarting until it manages to load. But usually 1 or 2 tries are enough.

That's what the third chest is? Why the hell is it so rare? Hasn't dropped once for me.
This is the way gumi celebrate, pissing as many people with rng event as possible.
1 pull, 1 Candice. I feel like I could even get Mei today.
Also, the casino is open! I have no idea how it works, but the rewards seem to be tickets and nice weapons - specially those character-specific weapons in the Sins one. They feel like patches to avoid making a V2 of those characters, though (Wayne and an archer whose name I can't recall).

Maybe there's a random spread.
Each weapon also seems to have a different crafting time. The Avarice Blade or whatever the gold one is called takes 27 hours for me, while the Royal Spear has taken 18 hours first, then 15 today.
First fragment to Shade Bow took 17h from Sheda. 2nd fragment is taking 18h. I think there is some rng in this too. But yeah, this event is another good example how Gumi is handling player base. Stupid low % rate for event character (MeI) and stupid low rate for 2* enhancer and stupid low exp & gold & ac.
Hey Gumi, if you want to have paying customers, you should do your customer service a littlebit better (see their FB pages for angry players). This way you arent getting more paying players.

Tried out the casino in JPCC, thought it was pretty interesting.
The coins aren't hard to get, really high drop rate and you can get 50 coins from a 4 ap quest.
Mostly time trials quests that don't use AP but coins instead though the prizes for the non Sin Prison one are pretty meh. I did get a revival fruit out of it so it wasn't all that bad.
Burning all my fortune rings on the new gacha character and still haven't gotten one though. :[
