Jennifer Svedberg-Yen is so happy with the reception of Clair Obscure 33 that she is replying to everyone on Instagram and said that due to reception there are prettygood chances the game could get a DLC (and maybe even a sequel)

We. Continue. Making. Money.

Hope they don't ruin the game with unnecessary DLC. Sequel I'd look forward to though.

She's a voice actor so she probably doesn't know that much about the plans, but it is telling that she talks about 'we' which makes it sound like the voice actors were part of the overall team and not just brought in to read the lines.

Can't imagine a game as heavily story driven as this getting a good dlc. The story itself is definitely done, additions to that would not work.
The only thing I can imagine are some prequel stories with the other expeditions and their interactions with that one protagonist.

Jennifer Svedberg-Yen. Lead writer actually

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't like narrative-based DLC. The only DLC I like are things like new levels in a platformer (like Astro Bot), new courses in a racer (like MK8), etc.

Once I complete an RPG (or really any narrative-heavy game), it's very hard for me to go back and play an added story, especially if it already had a satisfying ending.

Ken Levine's Judas will fix this problem for you. :messenger_smiling:
