Did they fix Skyrim's borkness on the PS3? Because it's been name dropped quite a few times recently, I want to see what all the hub bub is about.
Apparently it's been "fixed". I've played about 10 hours and haven't had any real problems, framerate struggled a little bit during the intro and still struggles at some points (doing a Whirlwind Sprint in the open world will do it). I have no idea how bad it was before though.

If I don't have a gaming PC to run Skyrim, will the PS3 suffice at that price without all the mods?
I don't have any comparison to 360 or PC, but from what little I've played on PS3 it's definitely playable. Load times are still long though, still takes about 30 seconds to load from a town to the open world even with the 5gb install; that's probably my biggest issue with the PS3 version.
All the fuss over the PS3 version being broken in early 2012 has reportedly been fixed with the numerous patches, so if PS3 Skyrim is your only option I don't think it's a problem.

Is Way of the Samurai 4 likely to be a hard to find game in the future? I'm keen on checking it out & Base.com have it for £23.99, with a few sites & eBay listing it around £27+. I had a Flubit demand which offered it for around £20. Best price? Cheers guys.
Whatever you pay for it, it'll be worth it.
I'm gonna look for a good HDD to do just that.

Price has gone up a bit since I bought one last year though (~£7).

Not personally but for downloads, the order after paying apparently pops up the code. It is also sent in an e-mail and takes a lot longer. I don't know if paying with paypal causes problems here.
If it is actual eShop money instead though that is sent through the post and comes with the physical cards.

I've never ordered a game code but I've ordered points with them and got an email pretty much instantly. I think I used PayPal as well. Try checking your account history on the site.

It's usually instant, however I got a PSN top up from Game last night and my order was cancelled this morning for whatever reason, so there could be problems on their end if you've still not received it.
They should have emailed you a link to where you can put you're email address in and they'd send you a link to all your previous codes.
Sometimes they do extra verification. My Pikmin 3 DL code took about 5-6 hours to ship to my email.
Whatever you pay for it, it'll be worth it.

Yeah, my Pandora's Tower came and was in a good condition. Slight sticker mark that I rubbed away but not much else that was a problem. Can tell it's definitely not brand new and wasn't shrink wrapped, but it's good enough. Also came with unused Club Nintendo code. But having discovered this is what BB do, I doubt I'll be buying 'new' from them again.
Normally you can create an Asian PSN account, redeem there and use the DLC on your own account as well. But sure, future DLC wouldn't work when bought from EU PSN.

Got Ass Creed:Rev 'new' from Blockbuster. No shrink wrap, PS3 box replaced with generic black one, fingerprints on disc, online pass folded in half (not redeemed it yet). Package had stamps on it, for that hand delivered feeling.

Black generic box is the normal version of revelations.
I bought mine new from game and it had the same shitty box.

Can't say I can relate to that. Know a few people with it on ps3 and that's not the case (hoho!). 360 here, nothing abnormal there either.
I bought the Revelations PS3 version new (factory PlayStation shrinkwrap with hologram strip) and it had the glossier, black blu-ray box. So it is official, sure.
Looks bad though.
The first print had a black case. I suppose your version doesn't have AC1 included?

Unless you're aware of the severe limitations and/or have an hard disk to spare (and able to fit it in, dunno if still possible with this model?) I advise you to avoid the 12GB models like a plague: remember that plenty PS3 games have not optional but mandatory installs, and quite big too in a number of titles. So yeah, it's not like buying an Arcade model (I actually own one, great deal thanks to this thread and user Phife Dawg btw!) or whatever cheapo X360 models. Again, you probably knew all of this already and I imagine you must have worked out a plan well suited for you, but who knows maybe I've helped another gaffer out in being a tiny bit more informed and I'd be very happy with that!

I just pre-ordered Tales of Xillia using Flubit and paid using my card through PayPal as a guest. Instead of taking the £28.79 the offer was for, I've lost £30.79 from my account - this is the only thing I've used my card for recently.
The Flubit & PayPal emails both say they've charged me £28.79. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before and/or knows what's up? I phoned them and they couldn't help me.
I'm also curious if anyone knows what their release day shipping is like? The guy on the phone said I would most likely receive it on release day (this Friday), but if I don't then there wasn't much point in me cancelling my Amazon order for the sake of a few quid and a late game.
