Well, the fact that we're seeing the atmosphere is pretty amazing already.


Cassini's camera can use a variety of filters, some of which can cut through Titan's obscuring haze. The first images showed bright clouds at the south pole, amid Titan's global haze. Later views showed sharp boundaries between bright and dark features on the moon's surface.

The Huygens probe will be released in December but won't land on Titan until January:

The 319-kilogram (703-pound) Huygens probe will separate from the Cassini orbiter in December of 2004, and will begin a 22-day coast phase toward Titan. Remaining on the Cassini orbiter will be the probe support equipment (PSE), which includes the electronics necessary to track the probe and to recover the data gathered during its descent. Then, in January of 2005, just 45 minutes before reaching the atmosphere of Titan, timers will wake up the Huygens probe.

As it finally enters Titan's atmosphere, three sets of parachutes will slow down the probe and provide a stable platform for scientific measurements. The fully instrumented robotic laboratory will reach the mysterious Titan's surface about two and half hours later.

I sent a email to NASA's webadvisor's and have yet to get a response from them, but i'm sure they are in just about as much shock as i was when seeing this MAF thats literally identical to MAF i made a comparison picture with a transparency but its way too big to put up on my webspace, but still its only off by just a small bit in two areas.... MAF that is your moon no mater what.
