Yeah wukong use nanite but i'm fairly certain that the game has a problem with texture loading and not as much as a pop in problem, i think the game always use the best lod for everything but sometimes texture don't load properly.

Also i'm not sure if nanite can help with simple 2d vegetation.
Yeah, I’ve noticed some rock textures that look as bad as the ones on the mountain area in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

It is also a matter of hardware and size of the game.

Hb2 has very few bad textures because it's basically a small tech demo with barely anything on screen or gameplay, wukong is too big to have virtually no bad textures, let alone full fledged open world games, maybe in the nextgen we are gonna have hb2 quality in open worlds, that would be a megaton.

A bit, not too much, but I definitely notice when it’s done well, was particularly surprised by the cloth simulation in indika

Its a computationally very expensive effect that only bothers the most pedantic of nit-pickers.

Seriously, it's not a feature that if it was implemented and highlighted in marketing/promotion would have ANY impact on sales whatsoever.

We've finally found it. The most equally divided poll in GAF history

Not everything is about sales, Dwight.

In this case: Yes it is.

If you want this sort of minutia of detail -which takes considerable time and effort to implement- then the labour costs need to be covered. To say nothing of the additional resources required both in development and at run-time.

All of which means sales.

Voted 2.

It doesn't bother me, but sometimes there are decisions that perhaps shouldn't have been made because they result in clipping 100% of the time. It makes you wonder why there was no workaround. An example of this is in Elden Ring's DLC, where Great Katana scabbards will clip through the floor as they hang off you every single time.

It probably never will be solved. Having a collider and physics on a piece of cloth that has got thousands of vertices would be very expensive computationally. Not worth it.

It can look goofy and out of place, but if it truly bothered me, I would never play a single FromSoft game ever again.
