Unfortunately first one was the definition of mediocre. Had lots of hopes before playing and the game's overall score was high but the game was nothing like that.
Hope this one will be better but the first impression is not good. Hope I'm wrong about this.

First game was among the weakest souls-likes to the point where I didn't even finish it, highlight was the robust character creator that allowed me to make a big tittied waif barely covered in bandages. Trailer looks like a PS4 game running at 25 fps with a worse art style, easy skip.

It was pretty bad with basic to bad level design. Not to mention tries to copy dark souls with the anor londo segment. Deleted that trash from my library.

Of course it was ME thing. Should I write "for me" at the every sentence I write here? This is a forum and I'm stating my opinions.
Most of the time Steam reviews applies my gaming taste but on some rare cases they don't match my taste. First game was mediocre for ME in every sense. There is nothing wrong with that, it can happen. Of course kudos to devs to put their effort as always. I finished the game but it was mediocre experience.
MAYBE it was super fun for you, clicked with you and loved it. Good for you then. You do you, me do me, nothing wrong with that.

Frankly there is so little edgelord stuff these days, it's become a refreshing change of pace to see it once in a while.

I tried to play this and could not figure out how to leave the mansion/house after the intro area. Got frustrated and never went back.
