I assume Erin Andrews will be covering usc/hawaii this saturday?

Once you've verified your account by connecting through a cable modem or w/e from your home (where you subscribe), you can log in anywhere.
Ah, but that's for cable subscribers only right? Is there a login page for internet only guys?

I don't know if they have that. My understanding is you have to get it through cable. So like my Time Warner internet gets me nothing, I have to have a higher tier of cable, and then I can connect.

I guess there might be internet only options, but ESPN is so expensive for cable operators, and I think ESPN3 is one of the reasons they justified the cost, so I don't know if that is likely.

I think I finished pretty high in the pick em last year, but I can't find the results :(. Anyway, here we go for week 1:

Well good thing I'm inquisitive and clicked on this thread :| Would have missed it otherwise, but I guess that would be a just result for not following CFBGaf in the off season.

The only gif I could find.

I like KSU and Snyder, but they got lucky so many times last year I have a hard time believing it'll happen again. They'll be a respectable 8-4 or 9-3, IMO.

I think a 10-2 is going to be really hard to get with the new Big 12, but the Scheme Doctor loves to prove me wrong, and we return mostly everybody.

Not sure if possible (outside of ssh, remote connection) since espn3 doesn't require a login. It just detects your ISP through your IP. You could try first row?

First row is what I usually use.. Quality usually sucks but if nobody wants to share I definitely understand.

Some cable networks (Time Warner; I think the satellite companies too) have a login verification where you have to login to your cable account through te ESPN3 website rather than just connect from home. This fits the model better in that ESPN wants to tie your WatchESPN account to a video cable sub rather than an Internet sub (unless the Internet provider is willing to pay them every month to allow you access)

Also - just because a game is blacked out on ESPN3 doesn't mean you won't be able to watch it through WatchESPN. If you have access to the actual ESPN Networks via the Watch ESPN site (ie, you can watch the live streams of ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU) then that game will be available to you

That is pretty cool. And Like Schilling it looks like he avoided the thread about his profession, although it appears he wasn't shy of talking about it.

Liking the Ohio pick.

I refuse to let schadenfreude run too many of my picks.

Penn State will have them running like scared kids.

First game back after scandal, so much derp fuel to power them.

I forgot about this.

thought about picking Ohio as well but will probably go with Penn St for that very reason

I think the cupcakes will be wins as usual, but the Big 10 schedule is another story.

Please don't lose to Indiana

woah small college fan. we dont got many of those around here.

Yeah, thought I'd give my alma mater some love after seeing all this SEC and B1G talk in here. If we can beat PSU, 12-0 is possible, although we've been prone to one or two dumb in-conference losses every year in the Solich era. At Marshall is no gimme either, despite destroying them last year.

3 division titles and 4 bowl appearances in six years is pretty much the golden age of Ohio football, especially after the Brian Knorr era (11-35 from 2001-2005, my last four years in Athens). Really want to win that MAC title game, no conference championships since 1968!
