I think its a bit of both and the fact that he's had an unusually high amount of turnover for a previously successful team

So what is this......Teams that the Buckeyes beat in National Championship games are destined to implode in following years..... wonder if that counts for Final 4 games.....RIP Alabama.

Someone who went straight "no cover" would be at least in second place behind Xeris (not accounting for bonus points). I'm going to take a closer look at the teams in the pick 'em for next week to try and bring the ratio of cover / no cover to 5/5.

I just got back in the U.S. from Japan and checked the final score.

Lol... How the hell do we keep it close with MSU and then put on a performance like that? Pretty pathetic. I really hope they're looking at new options for a defensive coordinator.

Man, for as much as we collectively bitched about Mark May and Lou Holtz, this new College Football Scoreboard show is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

I'm not saying I miss Final Verdict, but damn if they didn't go WAY too far in the other direction.

So what is going to be today's inexplicable ranking madness? It doesn't seem like yesterday would lead to too much insanity (like Oregon staying ahead of Utah levels), but the pollsters find a way. Ole Miss jumps Michigan State?

I'm fine with the rankings, I just wish there was more movement despite winning. I'd probably drop A&M a couple spots for last night's game. I'd still move Texas Tech up. It shouldn't take a near loss to a I-AA team to slide down.

Gus isn't getting fired unless they lose out. Which isn't happening. Chizik was easy to shit-can because "Oh, Gus was the reason we won in 2010! Chizik didn't do anything in 2010, that was all Gus, Cam and Fairley!" They won't fire Gus for that same reason.

Yup. Gus isn't like Chizik and we see he definitely was the missing link.. See Arkansas State with 9 wins in it's first year with him at the helm.
