College Football 2015 Week Nine Thread: Clemson, Clemsoned

Ugh, I forgot to get my picks in this week. Working at HBO is absolutely my dream job, but it's severely impacted my ability to goof off at work.

Also, that JT news is a serious bummer. Looks like he's only suspended for a week-but he was pulled over for trying to avoid a checkpoint? And he didn't get arrested? I wonder if he barely blew over the .02 or whatever the limit is.

He blew over a .08.

Oh man a redzone td after getting the ball with less than a minute in the half!

That is so unlike us.

I don't know who I want to lose more, Auburn or Ole Miss. Auburn winning would kill Ole Miss' advantage in the tie breaker, but it means they will probably be bowl eligible (just need to beat Idaho).

I guess I lean toward Miss to win just because they can still lose to LSU, Arkansan, or Miss State. Those are a lot more likely than Auburn winning here and proceeding to lose out.

if AU makes it to a bowl game, it'll be the Birmingham bowl, and i'd laugh at them being in Legion Field again.

So, Tommy Armstrong (Starting QB) was out prior to the game.

De'mornay Pierson-El (All-Star Receiver & Return Specialist) out with serious upper leg injury.

Terrell Newby (#1 Running Back) out with ankle injury.

Three other players sustained minor injuries but have seen some play since.

I assume a gas line underneath the Nebraska sideline is going to explode in the second half and take out the rest of the team.

Yikes. He blew a .099 while actively trying to avoid a DUI checkpoint, which means he knew he shouldn't have been driving in his condition.

That's bad.

Look, pal, if there's one thing Urbz knows, it's how to discipline productive players that do bad things.

Jacques having a great breakout game here.

He is very Karlos like. Even stole his number.

Keep SMAG in next week and rotate Jacques in way more, especially in the red zone. Dalvin is bad in the red zone.

I used to think blowout losses against ranked opponents on national TV was rock bottom. It wasn't. Blowout losses to 1-6 teams when no one watches or cares is much much worse.

Burn it to the ground

Will shortly be another FG while inside the 10 yard line

We care, sorta. Apathy has settled deep into our bones over the past decade so it's just numbing at this point.

5th turnover for Nebraska. It's official. This will be the first game in over a decade that I've turned off and stopped watching before the end.

I'm done.

Mike Riley is gonna get fired.

Honestly, probably a good thing. They need NEW blood at Nebraska. I'd be blowing up Chad Morris's phone right now.

This is great:

@sam_ponder: Man by me on my flight is explaining @CollegeGameDay to his wife. I'm unnoticed. The description of what it is sounds hilariously insane...

@sam_ponder: "So it's like tons of ppl w/mean signs abt nickelback & stuff, a story that makes you cry, videos of fball & a guy puts a giant head on."

Ball luck is one thing

Purdue is fucking abysmal.

Hazell's record in conference and against FBS teams at Purdue is horrific.

This is just a team not ready to play today, backup QB or not.

there were times I at least had hope we'd break through. 2011 @ Wisconsin was probably the big one. Being in the top 10, big opponent on the road at night. The conference title games in 09, 10 and 12 (even in 06 with Callahan). I'd take that disappointnent 1000x over this.
