Yeah, I wish I could get Seahawks tickets for $70. I'm not even sure I can get UW tickets for $70 anymore.

Single game tickets for the Carolina Panthers (the usual occupants at the site of the USC/UNC game) range from $43 to $120.

I think it's more that people are less and less inclined to travel to games as TV quality improves and ticket prices increase.

The ASU @ TAMU is probably because they believed it was a neutral site game and allocated too many tickets for ASU. I mean, fucking Houston is half way across the country from ASU.

Should be a good game though.

Yes I'm joking about it being a home game for TAMU (but it really kind of is).

Yeah 6pm is rough. Anyone not basically already in eastern Orlando will be late. I would say a 7 or 8pm kick is better, but we're on CBS Sports. Which guarantees at least a 4 hour game.

I think as long as students show up in force, we'll have a solid 34-35k. They have been much better about showing up lately.

Also, UW now plays football at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. It's apparently the most lucrative naming rights deal in college sports.

I'm cool with that. They also bought the naming rights to our basketball arena.
