College Football 2016 Week Four - Off-Season Thread - tOSU wins it all

Granted, I just jumped in, Michigan is looking like no bullshit. Straight forward football.

Whenever they play theOSU is when I secrete yellow and blue. Any other time is indicative of an STD.

Brian Van Gorder was DC for some of the best defenses UGA fielded between 2001 and 2005. I thought he would be great for you guys. Maybe guys are still learning his system and what he expects from each position.
Offenses have also evolved over the last 10 years. His scheme is really bad.

Oregon has looked:

a) undisciplined
b) underprepared
c) disinterested

Even as Oregon rode Mariota to the title game under Helfrich this team hasn't looked close to as efficient/tight as it was under Kelly. Shit is systemic.

Quoted now. Quoted forever.

No way. I've been all around Florida, truly the shittiest of the 48 continental, unchanged for the 50 United if not for S. Palin.

Tally, Gainesville proper and absolutely zero radius around, are the Austin of this dumpster fire.

I grew up in Central FL and there's a serious reinvention of Orlando but believe me when I say that place is a bowl of shit then, shit now, shit for here on out until such time bowls of shit are redefined.

Sorry you grew up in central Florida. Any city outside Orlando in that area is a horrible place to live. Come to the coasts.

Gators win this and all but lock up the East in two weeks

Well if they continue to get killed by an admittedly improving Colorado team at home it will hopefully serve as a wake-up call.

Ick.

Just tuned into the Colorado @ Oregon game. What's up with Oregon? down 10-0

Colorado is better and Oregon can't paper over its coaching problems anymore.

Holy shit MONSTROUS BOOING from the Oregon fans when they lined up for 2.

Then EVERYONE CHEERS when they go for the PAT.

Florida needs to mix it up on offense a little. Maybe throw on 1st and 10 instead of only on the inevitable 3rd and long.

Golden Domers are chickenshit!!
McElwaine/Nussmeier going stupid-conservative in the second half with a lead? Where have I heard that before?

The only easy win in the Pac 12 this year might be Oregon State. (Maybe WSU and/or Arizona)

Which basically guarantees everyone in the conference finishes with 2 losses unless Stanford or Washington is good enough to run away with it.

Oregon will have to out-athlete Colorado, because coaching isn't getting it done.

That's basically the last three years of Oregon football in a nutshell.

Seeeeeriously. How the hell are we so crappy at tackling?

I've heard that Helfrich simply isn't as detailed/hard on the team in regards to making everything perfect like Kelly was. Chip was kind of a lovable jerk, but his edge was instilled into the teams he coached which played with ruthless efficiency.

Skiesofwonder

Walruses, camels, bears, rabbits, tigers and badgers.
One thing I can say about this 2016 team, they don't fall down when facing adversity like last year and our defensive cordinator actually makes 2nd half adjustments.

That's something positive at least.

Agreed. Oregon never got beat by more than 11 points under Chip (his first game).

Huh, who knew D1 college ball had a mercy rule. 3rd and 4th quarters in the Mizzou-Delaware State game will only be 10 minutes each.

I thought that was a big thing last week. But, I'm not a lawya or a dad so my saturdays are pretty damn awesome.

You think the loss of Scott Frost has any effect as well?

Or is this just a Helfrich thing?
