I'm thinking he switches back to Auburn. The kid is a head case.

Ballamy still has UGA in the lead, and Tunsil is still expected to sign with Ole Miss. I just wonder how many scholarships and jobs Ole Miss is giving out for each recruit.

or how many Bongs UGA has promised Ballamy ;P

USC just lost a 4 star DE, Jason Hatcher, to... Kentucky.

too busy working, then reading a Nkemdiche article, that I was late in noticing this story :lol

Sure, kids from Louisville, so it's more like he originally blew off the local team for West Coast Riches, but this works just as well.

Possibly 12 commits? At USC? What is your restriction from the NCAA?

I think we can take 17 this class. We had 17 recently, ESPN shows us with 14 Rivals has us with 12 (because we lost Ramsey and Hatcher). Fitts is saying he still wants to go to USC so unless Kiffin completely fucks that up he should be a Trojan.

It is still pretty bleak.

RT @WBroadus: @colecubelic my sources tell me Foster was trying to recruit a player to go to Bama and was bad mouthing AU. Reese shut him up

Though, Heath Evans did start the "Nick Saban stepped over a convulsing, brain dead, riddled with parasites Miami Dolphin player" story a few years ago.

Roc Thomas, Rashaan Evans, and Ronnie Clark also all say it happened. All are 2014 prospects, who were visiting for "Junior Day"

Our class is shaping up similarly and we don't have any sanctions. solidarity bro

Well if it makes you feel any better, UCF has just added a commit that had to be manually added to the Rivals database - not that Rivals is an exhaustive list of recruits.

But we're on sanctions and we're UCF and George O'Leary is our coach.

Look at the bright side though, you just stole a safety from Washington State!

Incidentally, remember that article I posted a while back about Leach getting banned from DeSoto High School for pulling a player's scholarship late (after not mentioning anything at all about it being at risk during face to faces with both the player and his coach in the last week) because they got a commitment from another player at the same position? The "other player" at the same position they picked up was Montrel Meander, the guy that just flipped to UT. :jnc

I'll actually be fairly excited about how our class ends up if all the guys we've gotten commitments from late in the process qualify. We've done pretty well on guys that have the talent to play but hadn't committed anywhere because they were thought to be grade casualties and hadn't been recruited too hard; Gary Moore in particular should be a REALLY good player if he can stay eligible. Pretty good way for the new staff to finish out the class after the hole they were left in when they got the jobs.

We'll be taking Nico Falah.

Back to the subject of the horrible new Ohio State logo, I don't understand why they don't just drop the script logo entirely and use the Block O as our primary athletics logo as well.

There's really no need to slap OHIO STATE across it to make it recognizable.

Golden Domers are chickenshit!!
I have no idea what the hell this means. Some kid tried to get an Auburn recruit to go to Bama instead? And now people are annoyed? I guess?

SECSECSEC is weird.

They're repeating the story that Auburn's center, Reese Dismukes allegedly called Reuben Froster, an African-American, 5* star recruit on his official visit to Auburn (and who had been committed to Alabama, then flipped to Auburn, then decommitted when Chizik was fired), a nigger. That obviously made Foster mad, who left in the middle of his official visit and went to Tuscaloosa. He then "committed" to Alabama last night. He's going to actually sign his LOI to the school whose logo he saw immediately before picking up his pen.

Why is that throwback Oregon logo painted red?

Quick somebody show him the block O above and see if he ID's the correct school. If not, he has to go to Rutgers.

Why don't we just cut to the chase.

keeping the combo up

Foster got the AU tattoo fixed. Put Ladarius Phillips name written above it (think he was cousins) and R.I.P., because he died in that shooting on campus last year.

Well, that's actually a pretty decent way to salvage it. Sad story, though.

We played last year with 91 on scholarship, so I'm not sure.
Did the SEC's rule on that not go into effect yet? Honestly I'd like for UGA to get some recruits to switch tomorrow but I'll be happy if we just get a full roster again that can generate some competition and depth.

Numerous tweets that Todd Grantham, our DC, is being interviewed by the Saints on Thursday for the same position. These rumors are just what were needed on national signing day eve. He'll be part of the conference that UGA will be doing tomorrow so I'm sure he'll be asked about it. FWIW, he hasn't informed our AD of any interest by an NFL club, which is required by his contract. This could be an example of negative recruiting by somebody if its all bullshit.

saw rumors earlier today about the Eagles again. Didn't they hire someone already???

Also, Alabama's been on this run where normal attrition doesn't seem to be happening. Not alot of "Bad Apples" needing to be kicked off. Not alot of crime. Just leaning on "you'll never play" or "You're too injured for our use" excuses.

Saw that too, Kelly doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry, so I assumed he was going with somebody from one of the teams in the Super Bowl. Who knows.

You know, the offeseason is all downhill after about mid-day tomorrow. Nothing until spring training.

Unless conferences start dicking around again out of boredom.

Schefter said the Saints hired Rob Ryan.

Football wise, you have to move over to Combine stuff, and then wait for Spring Practice and Draft.
