Hey UGA! If you try that kind of weakass tackle on Dez this weekend, prepare for a stiffarm to the face.

If they can beat Cincinnati on Labor Day and with the schedule they have. They should be
playing West Virginia for the conference title on Dec 5.

And i know one man ready for Labor Day.

Any word on how Zona is supposed to be this year? Central Michigan has to play them (first time we've played a Pac10 school) and it'd be cool if we had a shot.

From an earlier post:
Zona is overrated, their QB situation isn't looking good, and TE Gronkowski is going to miss this game, IIRC. Plus, doesn't CMU still have their QB from last year? Zona's defense should be good again, but I think CMU has an excellent shot at pulling the upset here.

I'd say Central Michigan has a pretty good chance. I still think Zona's defense will be annoying but they have next to nothing on offense.

Rumours coming out that Carl Moore might be out for the year. Florida WR. Something about some discs in his back.

Not out for the year. He's just not coming back from his surgery fast enough to be in the first game.

I went to the Motor City Bowl last year. Central Michigan/Florida International. There was a good crowd, but they were practically giving tickets away. I got 2 8th row field-level tickets at the 10 yard line, a parking pass, and $15 to use at the concession stands for like $38.

Up in Detroit, Little Caesars is everywhere. Every corner, every street has one. I didn't think they had the dough to buy up a bowl.

Holy shit I thought they were out of business.. they all closed in Florida like 10 years ago.

Did you ever drive on I-75? There's a huge Lil Ceas billboard on I-75 in FL. I know this because I drive I-75 from Orlando on my way to Tally

They must a lot of money off that $5 pizza deal they have.

I do see a lot of low income families in my neighborhood partaking in it.

REAL FUCKING FOOTBALL!! :D

Any of you
US
Cocks going to make a final score prediction? Come on now. I know you've waited all offseason...

My prediction: 24 USC 28 NCSU

When you're drinking, and taste isn't paramount, it isn't a bad pie for the money. At least its better than something frozen you heat it up.

Yup, or a quick business lunch. Cheaper than a Publix sub. mmmmm....

Actually you're right, there is that 1 that I always did see on 75. I used to think of going every single time I'd drive up or down but never stopped. I'm from Orlando so I always took 75 up to... umm, 10? Been a few years since I've last driven it.

SyNapSe said:
I don't see how they even stay in business with that deal.

On Saturday the one near me will have people buying them 10 at a time to get ready for the games. I saw a breakdown on the profit on each pizza, it is definitely all about volume.

SyNapSe said:

They sell tons of 'em. I've picked them up and I've always been in a line that's at least 3-4 people deep. Dude, pizza is cheap anyway when you break down the ingredients.

Go Nittany Lions!

Um, the ultra wimpy schedule isn't what Penn State wanted, but it is just as well for the new o-line. Alabama procrastinated to the tune of 2 years, and the calendar couldn't get lined up for TCU to replace them so you get stuck with Syracuse or Temple.

I'm putting my faith in Graham Zug to make more of the clutch catches in the close games this year like he did last year(he went to HS at Manheim near where I grew up).

Anyway, along the lines of the Rich Rod talk, Ryan Mallet left for the Razorbacks cause he didn't fit the new Michigan offense. So I'll be following Arkansas out of curiosity. Has there been anyone this tall before at QB?

wtf.

Just now seeing the LIttle Caesars Bowl. Oh god. That's so lame. Fuck fuck fuck. Sad whytemyke today since I'm probably the only person in this thread whose team regularly plays in that bowl game :lol. (For what it's worth, those $5 pizzas aren't SO bad... we had one up in Mt Pleasant where I went to school and it was making money hand over fist... every college town should have one.)

Anyways, I'm delighted to see that people think Central Michigan has a shot against Zona. We play at Arizona this weekend then at Michigan State next weekend. I'm going to the game at State so that'll be fun. But I don't know how this Zona game is gonna turn out. Phil Steele has Zona as a dark horse for the Pac10 but... yeah. I doubt it.

another question--

they have these Hulk Hand Beer Koozies at my local 7-11. Think it'd be lame to get one and paint it the colors of my alma mater? I think that kind of thing would be a badass tailgate prop.

FOOTBALL SEASON IS BACK

IT'S A CELEBRATION, BITCHES

Cannot wait! I'm in Raleigh for the game.

So apparently the Sooners will be without Jermaine Gresham for at least Saturday against BYU, and possibly for longer... The OU coaches aren't divulging the extent of the injury.

Sucks for them, because now opposing defenses can really hone in on their inexperienced receivers, as they lost both Iglesias and Johnson from last season. I honestly think this gives BYU a chance to beat them. Not much of a chance, but a chance nonetheless.

I just bought a 24-pack of Bud Light Black and Gold cans. I don't even like Bud Light that much, but it's something I couldn't really pass up on.

Torn meniscus is the word on the street. Out four weeks, probably.

Here's hoping the kid gets healthy and back on the field, ASAP. (Guns Up!)

Hey King Gondo, you're an OSU fan? What do you think of the new Cowboy song? :lol
