Someone on another board used the "liptstick on a pig" phrase regarding the newly revealed, fully dressed logos -- I thought that was very apt. I can't imagine this lasting 30 years like the Bullet, or even as long as the Spin managed.


Getting back to comics released this week, Greg Land actually did good work on this week's Uncanny X-Men. I was surprised.

As I said earlier in the thread, his recent work seems a lot more tolerable. Of course, the threshold level for recycled work is different for different people but at least it doesn't seem porn sourced.

There's nowhere to go but up for Savage Hawkman. Tony Daniel fucked the character up. Visual redesign is great, but the book was such a sack of vomit and aborted fetuses. Satchy wishes she could be as mad as me about what they're doing to Wonder Woman.

getting reamed by World War Hulk couldnt even make me this butthurt

edit: @bluescrote - i think it's a pretty fun book, and i typically hate reading teams. Starling (character created by Duana Swiercynski for the book) is a showstealer.

Apparently Hughes is on Twitter talking up doing more interior work.

I flipped through Fables this week, but I'm not parting ways with $3/4 for three pages of fatboy's artwork, oh and a cover if you count that. Sorry to be so mean spirited; but I'm tired of Hughes pretty little princess shit.

Hey, you're not doing as many con sketches anymore. Get your ass back to doing ASWW jerkface!

Oh wait, then he'd have less time to horse around on the Internet and crossdress. And look where horsing around on the Internet got me. >:|

Really? I wanted to get this because I like those characters but I hated that dudes Cable(well to be fair I don't like Cable haha) and Black Widow stuff. I guess I'll go try it.
