Ha! KID GLADIATOR HAS MORE DEMERITS THAN ANYONE!

What are demerits?

Also, 9-issue "Final Execution" story got announced for Uncanny X-Force. Its a mega story arc, similar in scale and consequence to last year's "Dark Angel Saga". A few choice details:

-It involves a new, badass version of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

-Its also reintroduces Omega Red in the form of the Omega Clan.

-They run an organization named the "White Sky", a shop that sells assassins, really. X-Force has Deadpool go shopping, as a recon mission.

-Big ramifications for Psylocke, but this also Wolverine's spotlight story arc. The characters will end up in very different places from the beginning of the story...at least, until the next writer shows up and retcons it away or something.

-Mike McKone is drawing the first few issues, followed by "dream team of artists fans will be very pleased to see coming up". With any luck, its Opena/Ribic. Lots of double-shipping. Starts in May with UXF #25

McKone isn't UGLY AS FUCK/unreadable like the current X-Force guy, he's just...boring. Dean White's colors should help, as always, though.

I really like the details they gave us, and the promise of some future great artists has me opportunistic about this.

Man, after reading a bunch of the Jean Grey School's student Twitters, Marvel REALLY needs to find a way to get a TV show on the air based on the classroom stuff. They're overflowing with comedy!

Makes me wonder if they've ever considered "'live' tweet commentary from the cast as it's happening" as a regular option with their digital comics. Something to further immerse the readers in their fictional world, as they're reading the story.

Chris Samnee is a new artist on Daredevil along with Paolo Rivera

wheeeeeee
That is HUGE. :O

Just a shame that the series won't be in B&W. I love Samnee so much, but his B&W art is on another level. Who needs colors for this??

Also, Marvel need to hurry the fuck up and release the rest of Uncanny X-Force digitally. I want to read the whole thing like yesterday.

You know, nearly ever girl I know (well enough to find out) is bi identified, but only one boy. I reckon give it 10 years and everyone will be midway on the kinsey scale. And then all will be right with the world :)
10 years? That seems like wishful thinking

The Omega Clan will run afoul of X-Force when the team encounters White Skies, a buy-an-assassin shopping center hidden as a cloud floating above the Earth.

Now see, that kind of stuff just gets me hype.

I think Remender is dropping Venom. He's doing one of those "I'm bringing on an indie writer to help me write this story before I leave" thing that Marvel always does:

-Brubaker for Fraction on Immortal Iron Fist
-Fraction for Gillen on Uncanny X-Men
-Fraction for Remender on Punisher
-Hickman for Humphries on Ultimates
-Bendis for Hickman on Secret Warriors

He's got Cullen Bunn helping him on the ending to his two-year narrative on Venom. He's got double-shipping Uncanny X-Force(even though he apparently just turned in the script for #30, lol) and Secret Avengers, along with new creator-owned books he's doing with that current terrible guy on UXF and another one with Tom Fowler. Its a shame, because I was enjoying his run, but I haven't read any Bunn, so I'll give him a shot.

As long as he NEVER leaves Uncanny X-Force, I'll be ok.

Ugh. I cannot stand McKone's work.

He's so boooooring, but at least he's readable, so that's an improvement over the current Otherworld stuff. And hey, Opena is probably coming back, so we're improving as we go along!

If there's something DC needs to rip off Marvel badly, its Marvel's indie writer introduction program. I remember going out buying so much Hickman stuff after reading Secret Warriors

Also, i hope the all-star artist team for the last issues of the new UXF arc means Opena/Ribic.

The plot thickens.

So I've been getting interested in getting into Punisher, are there any good books to start with? I heard Punisher MAX recently wrapped up but I couldn't find any books online/on Comixology. Is this being published anywhere? Are there some better entry-level stories that I should look into?

Anybody know what the damn hell happened in Wonder Woman 6??? Made absolutely no sense to me as I read it, so I figured I'd go back and skim 5 to see if I missed anything and re-skimmed 6 and I still don't have a god damned clue what's happening. The entire scene at the end with the candle and staff, and WW in a bubble and then throwing the candle at Hera and... what? I have no idea what that entire scene was about. Also why did Hades grab Zola at the end?

I really like the presentation of this book, and I like all the gods feuding in theory but something about the way it's written and/or drawn has just been confusing the shit out of me.

The Garth Ennis run on MAX is the best. Start with this one and work from there. He also did a Punisher run before MAX that wasn't as great but still really good here. If you get them both read the non MAX one first mainly because it came first and was sort of meant to reintroduce the Punisher.

I also have a soft spot for the run Chuck Dixon and John Romita jr had in the early 90s. Get it here.

Ennis' PunisherMax, then Aaron's PunisherMAX (which is the one that just finished).

I also like the Mike Baron Punishers.

But I think the Garth Ennis ones are really great for their humor and exaggerated violence.

love Ennis' Punisher Max stuff. Rucka's 616 Punisher stuff is a good entry point as well but it is a slow developing story. If that's not your thing wait on trades for that.
