It does seem very charming and it looks lovely but I'm not sure of the point beyond being charming and lovely. And Tiny Titans was legit funny in places too, but the gags here are pretty weak. They should totally hire the artist though, it looks great.

hey man, don't be bitter. It's a charming fan project and it doesn't cost anything to read. I also really like how the characters are represented as little kids. Try it for a little while and see what you think. It won't take long.

I really like Comic Book Resource's Comics Should be Good columns. I could (and did) spend an entire day going through stuff like "I Love Ya, but You're Strange"

Hell, the majority of the zero issues were really good to great comics.

Also, after two weeks of being told "it's coming" coupled with this week's release of the October Previews, I am now 100% positive that my LCS somehow missed the September issue of Previews. I have no idea how that may have happened, but I'll be sure and ask them tomorrow -- and then see what I can do about filling my monthly order after deadline.

Marvel at least got a set up for the future. The issue was how they were gonna handle Cyke. The way that it ended was to to show that there is a diffence between say Cap to Cyke. That Wolverine can let go but Cyke cant. But the way they went about it was too nonchalant IMO.
 
That Daredevil: End of Days thing is finally coming out tomorrow after a few years of delays. Should be interesting at least - Sienkiewicz inking Klaus Janson with words by Bendis and a poor man's Sienkiewicz. DD is my one dumb fanboy character so I'll probably take a look.
 
What are the chances of a Uncanny X-Force Omnibus? I'm going to wait for it.

I'm getting Amazing Spidey and AvX.

I'm starting to only buy comics that come with digital codes.

I figured we'd probably get one from the beginning to the end of Dark Angel Saga, but now that it's ending they'll probably do one with everything. It will take a long ass time to come out though, everything has to come out in hardcover and paperback first :(

it would be a shame not to give RR's 35 issue run a beautiful hardcover treatment. best cape stuff since morrison's new x-men - maybe it's even better, depends on how it ends.
 
An UXF is likely, they gave JAson Aaron host rider run an omnibus(one of the most underreated runs imo).

i would love to read this in one giant collection

indeed it is, and typically it has a sewn binding so it opens flatter without significant gutter loss.


I'm trying to finish off my random comics before dcbs' shipment arrives at the end of the week. Pigs #1 was okay, possibly worth checking out more of. It feels a bit awkward at times, especially the ending which i did like, but also felt it was thrown at me.
 
The digital omnibuses ComiXology throw together occasionally are awesome. I'm still kicking myself for only buy Vol 1 of the Invincible one. I need Vol 2, like now.
 
Are Spider-Man: Sins Past and Sins Remebered canon? I stumbled upon it on 4chan's /co/ and after reading about it a bit, it doesn't really make sense. I see that there are people saying its just shitty writing however it's canon and other people saying it's just not canon and Marvel is trying to sweep it under the rug.

From what I heard JMS desperately wanted to undo the arc as part of One More Day but editorial went above his head and said he couldn't. One of the Stacy kids was used somewhere in a Dark Reign mini.

Marvel messed up BIG, it is in-continuity. JMS wanted to get rid of it with One More Day, but marvel vetoed the decision.

WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? They are straight up two of the worst arcs in all of ASM. The whole point of changing continuity is to get rid of bad shit like that!
 
It's funny because I've read that there's an arc in Dark Avengers where Osborn is manipulated (?) and dreams of Stacy pregnant and some people take that to be Stacy's clone. Then Spider-Man, after Sins Past, says that Harry is Norman's only son, sort of throwing away the story altogether. Eh, just gets confusing. Seems like they're referencing it less and hoping it'll go away?

Probably just AvX. Don't know if I want to start collecting singles and just selling them on eBay to get the trades. Sounds like a big hassle, though I'll most likely do that for AvX.

Not all of them will be bought on release day, but that is pretty much what I want from this week.

While I like the roster for the Defenders, I don't really care for the story. I may or may not drop it. I'll wait to see how people take to Space Knights before I consider buying it.

I was pretty into the first two stories Carnage has been in recently. Despite his return, his stories seem generally detached from the rest of whats going on in Marvel (sure characters show up here and there, but there has yet to have been a reference to his return or even a hint elsewhere). I am really curious as to where they are going with all of this.

also, I freaking wish I could get the man-thing omnibus. One day.....
