If you liked the movie you'd probably want to check out the Guardians of the Galaxy series written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning from the mid-2000s. James Gunn is a fan of it IIRC.
I think the current series is bland. Good art at least.

I think this brings up an interesting point Like, judging from these pics, earth one WW is a pretty sexy take on the character but I dont see it as cheesecake. Morrison is an excellent writer and I trust hell pull it off, but I imagine it's very very difficult to imagine a matriarch society and develop cultural attitudes from the ground up.
While I think both creators are cream of the crop I would have loved if one of the creators was female. Maybe the editor? IDK its just a thought that it would increase the likelyhood of the book being as good as possible. I mean, if the book is supposed to envision what an all female society would be like, wouldnt it make sense to include a female creator in the creation? In my dreams, Lutay would have gotten a crack at the art.

Man, Simonson's Orion just keeps getting better and better. I'm totally digging this. I'm actually enjoying it way more than I thought I would.
I was kind of just expecting a fun action romp with a bunch of New Gods duking it out and some crazy Simonson fight scenes, but this is some solid storytelling. Definitely one of the more gripping/compelling superhero stories I've read in a long time.

She is the one and only good element in the Lazarus Effect, I'll tell you that much. I wanted to give it a 1/10, but her performance actually believably shifts between evil incarnate and confused terror, a very plausible sense of (in)humanity.

Has anyone else had an issue with Marvel Unlimited where basically the offline function doesn't work and half the time when you try to load an issue it shows up as only a sample? I open and close the app, remove issues from my library, redownload issues, log out, tonight I even reinstalled the app and it is STILL doing this. Tech support told me to do this stuff and it isn't helping.
