Let's not get our lovely community in trouble. Thank your stars and garters that Freeza isn't here. She has probably been put to bed a few hours ago by now.
Let's be real here, he probably directed the film.

And this is the cover now shown on Diamond's shipping website:
JUSTICE LEAGUE 3001 #3
Publisher: DC COMICS
(W) Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis (A/CA) Howard Porter
It's the Super-Buddies versus Giant Turtle Olsen starring in...Who the hell cares what it's called? It's Giant Turtle Olsen! You are so welcome. Oh, and the Justice League will show up too. I mean, it being their book and all...And hey, did we mention Giant Turtle Olsen?
Are you talking about me
Talking about comics, was the original solicit and cover for JL3K1 #3 a ruse? This was the original solicit:

So, no Turtle Boy Olsen 3001?
Yeah, it seems like it got wrapped up pretty quick thanks to Supergirl. Maybe they were trying to keep the Lois reveal a secret so Porter cooked up a fake cover. That's disppointing. That original cover looks amazing. But isn'tthe Starro arc pretty much done at this point?

That looks dopeSeems like it. The solicit reads like a joke too.
Found Gail's book. It's Crosswind for Image. It's looks awesome
I'm at the end of the first volume of Preacher.
I need more Preacher.

Her book Clean Room for Vertigo looks great too. Covers are lovely. I believe they are by Jenny Frison and we all know how amazing her work is. Glad to see Gail trying some different types of books.
Wait, what'd I miss here?
Second vol = best vol. Git on dat.
Oh I adore Staples Betty.
I am a Betty mam. Most definitely.
I really like her interpretation of all the characters.
I feel like this book will suffer without Fiona Staples. She is so perfect for it. It's a shame she wasn't able to do 5 issues for a full arc. Writing is funny though and I am enjoying it. Can't wait for Jughead. I am ludicrously excited for that.
And Revival for my money is still my favorite book on the market. I never see it mentioned here though

Superior is *pretty* good. Great art and the writing is definitely some of Millars bestDid not expect Millar to knock a superman origin story out of the park like he's doing with Superior. Didn't even remotely see it coming.
They expect you not to post porn links. We expect you not to post porn links, too.Clearly tagged as NWS and preceeded by spider-porn talk. Dudes still click on it and act surprised.
Don't know what you all expected, really.

The Secret Service complete. Exactly as good as the film. Different enough that it's worth a read to the very end.
Onwards to Sooper Crooks.
Since it's comic-related, the details of the Life & Death of Charlie Nash comic have come out. Spoilers for the comic & Street Fighter V ahoy. If I recall correctly, this comic was sold at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Why it took this long for the details of the comic to come out is beyond me.

Mark Millar wrote what are considered among the best Superman stories of the modern age during his tenure on Superman Adventures. Before Kick-@$$ and Nemesis, heck before Red Son, the man was proving that he knew how to write the Man of Steel. It's kinda weird how good writers with a well-known cruelty streak seem to be the most apt at writing supes at his noblest. Book was wonderful all the way to the very end.
Now to track down Supreme: Blue Rose and see if the pattern holds.
Have faith Messi. I think the next two artists will more than fit the series.
No lies detected.Deadly Class is soooo good!
There's a fair amount of Varvara's back story in there, so I'd at least read 1946.No lies detected.
Any Hellboy buffs here? I'm following this reading order chart and making my way through the books, last book I read is Plague Of Frogs vol 4 (great stuff btw, shit hit the fan pretty hard). Will I miss stuff if I skip BPRD 1946/1947/1948/Vampire and go straight to the Abe Sapiens books and BPRD Being Human?
Thing is I'm trying to get some books to read over the holydays and I won't be able to get 1946 in time so...
Destroying the little innocence I have leftWhat did you do here last night
So I just watched the Flashpoint Paradox OVA. I thought it was decent if a little too pleased in its own violence, but it made me think about continuity.
I don't really follow any DC ongoing books, but I understand this story created the new 52. How has that all shaped up? Did it work at giving readers a jumping in point? Did any characters actually diverge from their past in a real way? How are things going now?
