Meyers went off to do a Inhuman book, right?

Yup

Jonboy Meyers said:
Thank You guys for all the Teen Titans Love and Support and TT Issue #1 of the ongoing will be my Final Issue for the Series. Due to creative differences, I’ve decided to move onto other projects.

And just to be clear, I left on my own, so there’s no hard feelings or ill will. It’s comics not everything is magical–just the characters

He's a wonderful artist

This 60% off move by DC Is a game changer. Next year I think I'll wait for it now and not deal with the BOGO sales. Especially for their back catalog releases. And those digital trades? 60% off trades that are already less than the paperback versions.

Caught up on all that I wanted. Ready to dive in on some newer DC books.

Can't wait!

Glitterbomb is taking a year break between arcs. Arc 1 ending at #4. So that's that book dead. Sales must not have been good.

That's pretty shitty. The book is cool but it ends just as it's starting and now there's a year wait? least I got it in the sale I suppose.

Definitely jumping on this DC sale, to further expand my insane Comixology backlog. To confirm, what's the good Rebirth stuff in general, if I'm planning on hopping on that stuff finally?

Edit: Additionally, what's worthwhile from the Hannah Barbara stuff? I know Flintstones, but are the rest worth jumping on too?

Edit x 2: Also, good Batman runs pre-Morrison/Snyder, outside of the well known stand alone stuff (like Long Halloween, Dark Knight, etc) and Brubaker?

Oh shit, this DC Sale!

Plastic Man (Kyle Baker) - Full run $17! (Might be my first digital comic purchase).

All released Astro City - $85! (Might be the greatest comic deal of all time).

Sandman Mystery Theatre - Full run $56!
Shade the Changing Man - Full run $56!
Lucifer - Full Run $40!

Edit:

Transmetropolitan - $49
Robinson's Starman - $70

Can't decide if I cave on darkseid war now or wait for a deluxe hardcover/omnibus. You know one is coming eventually...

My favorite Batman event was no mans land. Runner up: The knightfall/Quest/end trilogy. Both have trades for them.

One of my favorite more modern run was Greg Rucka's Detective comic work. Starts right after no mans land. Really cool color scheme used in it as well. https://www.comixology.com/Detective-Comics-1937-2011-742/digital-comic/39215?ref=c2l0ZS9saXN0L3RhYmxldC9ncmlkTGlzdC9Jc3N1ZXM

Awesome, thanks a ton for this! I already do have a few of these, but the others are definitely now on my list for what to grab from this sale!

I picked up and read Kill or Be Killed #1-4 on the image CMX sale.It was pretty good. The trade would have cost 10 bucks but I got this for 4, so I jumped on this deal.Loved it the noir art style and story Ed is telling here. I might start reading this in single issues from #5.

So many good sales. I can't bring myself to make the jump to digital only though!

Planetary - $19

Giant Days v1 - $3
Giant Days v2 - $4
You should. If you just wait for sales like this you'll get more bang for your buck. Only things like Dark Horses library editions or DCs absolute editions are things I buy in print.

Doubt it. I figure we'll get Justice League omnis soon, though. I would wager two volumes would complete it.
I've been holding out hope, Dc loves event collections over full runs. Maybe an absolute darkseid war then omnibus the full run is my guess. Not sure I'd want to pay for the absolute over this digital sale, I'd like a deluxe hardcover.

One day you too will go digital only.

Search your feelings, you no it to be true. Give into your Destiny!

Im probably moving next year...all these things that are made of other things and exist, still can't part with my Buffy and angel DVD season boxes to put the discs in a binder.

Yeah I could definitely see an absolute version of Darkseid War.

I'm halfway through Busiek's Superman: Secret Identity and loving it. Y'know, for how uninteresting Superman seems to so many people, he really does have some truly amazing stories from All-Star, Seasons, American Alien, Birthright, etc.

I've always been primarily a Batman fan but when reading these Superman stories I ironically feel like I'm reading a much more human story. Maybe it's just because I love when Superman stories focus on the man and not the super as much, whereas Batman is a much more detached character.

Do what I'm doing. Digital sales + physical trades/hardcovers. I don't think I can ever get out of physical completely (can't do without some of them Dark Horse and Fantagraphics hardcovers) but I'm certainly almost done with floppies. There's probably only two or three things I'm going to stick to in that format, mostly stuff like Island. The ballache of sorting through and trying to shift the issues I've amassed since I started buying them in that format at the beginning of the new 52 has proved too much for me in recent weeks.

Finished the first two issues of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Really enjoy it so far. Fun to see all of this multiversal stuff that I love so much. Perez is such an amazing artist. I love the way he panels. It's such a great style that's unique to him.

Is Manhattan Projects ever going to return, or has Hickman explicitly said he's given it up?

He's never explicitly said that, I don't think. Could be one of those things where he revives it years down the road. I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon or maybe ever.
