I dunno, perhaps girls dress differently in Poland but I don't think so. And yeah, I mostku meant her MASSIVE TITS and how much of them you can see. She looks like Shyla Stylez, seriously. And I don't think there are many teenagers who want to look like that. A skinny look is definitely more desirable.
Come to think of it, if this was a Morrison comic this costume would be a metaphor for her inner desires and struggles with them. Se wears rather elegant and toned-down everyday clothes, but becomes a bimbo pornstar when she goes superheroing and the world is about to see her.
But it doesn't seem to be the case
Her look feels tailored to young duders like me, who enjoy huge fake tits in their porn (all those years conditioned by high-speed, one-click lewdness will do that to you) but tend to fawn over the skinnier girls in real life.That was a lot of silly words about a girly costume :|

After had nightmare about Ra's and Talia haunting him, Damian with his new power flew to atlantis, meeting Aquaman to rescue those freakish clone that based on him, the art is goddamn fantastic during the last act and effectively made touching scene with little dialogue.

Bluh, I need to get caught up on Batman & Robin. I'm through the 4th(?) trade which takes place after Damian died and it is following Batman and a select Bat-family member each issue. Does the story continue in the Batman & Robin series and when does the Robin Rising thing take place during that? Why'd I get caught up on X-men before Batman?

No idea how they would pace it in trade format, but its good.

The only books outside of Batman and Robin you need is Robin Rises: Omega and Robin Rises: Alpha. Omega starts the storyline, which continues in Batman and Robin, then concludes in Alpha.

Watch Stephanie Brown be the Spoiler and then watch Red Robin be a complete idiot. Mysterious warehouse filled with children all infected with nanobots? I know! I'll smash through the skylight to get their attention. Meanwhile Red Hood can blast through the front door to cause a distraction because why the hell not? What could go wrong?
It was alright. Everyone was stupid though.

Art was good. Story was eh. I could do with Batgirl being less of an idiot but that's just me.
And so our intrepid hero disappears into the internet until next month where there will be more Dick, more #drama, and more NANOMACHINES.
Oh and I just started reading Waid's run on Daredevil. Stuff is good.

Black Series Darth Vader? I really want one after getting a Stormtrooper and Scout Trooper for Christmas. Those prices though.
Good, it was a relic. Power Girl deserves a better costume anyway.
If anything, characters should switch costumes more often, especially the younger and trendier ones. That Wonder Girl costume posted earlier is a prime example. Something closer to her old Johns Teen Titans costume, maybe more like Miss America from Young Avengers. I'm not good at fashion.

I don't think it's so much entitled as it's a suggestion to reward people who've waited an amount of time that nothing outside of cataclysmic real life events could justify.
It's not Fraction, his part has been done forever, the delays are on the art side.

Everything I've heard about the recent delays have put the blame on Aja working incredibly slow. I am pretty certain Fraction turned in his final scripts forever ago.

I don't know about that. Sure maybe probably. But this is something that should have been for a loooooong time. She is the Supergirl of Earth 2, there is no need for her to obfuscate that heritage.

A logo or something keeps the costume visually interesting. Just a big mass of white would look dull and flat. As much as people complained about the cleavage, it at least added something to an otherwise flat design.
Yeah, of course looking at boobs is more interesting than not looking at boobs. I'm just saying there doesn't really need to be anything there because when I'm reading a comic I don't get bored if they don't have a logo on their chest. I doubt it would really make a difference if people care about the character. But ok, put a sun there or something to represent her getting powers from Earth's lovely yellow sun.

Ah, that's true. I guess I can't deny her that. It just doesn't look that great in the linked image I feel, but it might be I don't like the art style. I suppose with her being off in Earth 2 now there won't be a confusion with regular Supergirl so they can both have big esses.

I'd like it if they dropped the "Two Supergirls will confuse people!" stuff. Give me Power Girl / Supergirl teamups. Play around with that goofy multiverse concept.
Read up through the first half of the Hickman Fantastic Four Omnibus. Liking it thus far but obviously a lot of it is also build up. One question: Infinity is where all the Inhuman Terrigen bomb and whatnot stuff happens right? When does that take place in comparison to the Hickman FF stuff? Because the Inhumans chapter in here totally felt like something that would lead to that, though of course I haven't read it yet.
Also, random thought: Reed is supposed to be pretty solidly the smartest guy in 616, yeah? But what about in specialized fields? Like, can Tony Stark or Hank Pym outdo him in their own fields, or is Reed far ahead enough that they can't even do that?

The fact that her cleavage was showing is irrelevant, it broke up an otherwise flat design. Any logo could do the same thing.
I don't really get anything else you're saying, as I was only talking about her costume. I mean, obviously if the story and dialogue and everything else is good you can overlook a mediocre costume. I never said otherwise.

I'd buy a two Supergirls book.
I'm excited to see how today's issue is. It was initially going to be a smaller, Marvel week for me, but I was indeed missing a Teen Titan issue so I'll have more on my plate now.
In terms of design it might be irrelevant but in practice, it's become this huge part of her character. She's the character whose costume has a hole that shows her boobs. On top of that, the boob window is always being seen as this problem that needs solving (as the article linked to put it) as if you couldn't just not have the hole there. There's enough about the rest of her costume (boots, belt, cape, gloves etc) to make it visually distinctive, there's no real reason for her to show her boobs off like that.
I know you're coming from a design of the costume perspective and I get that, but with the character already established I feel like it would be so easy to tackle this "problem" and have that hole gone and it wouldn't hurt the design. It might upset fans who like to look at cleavage though.
I realise I'm ranting about this after they've already covered her up, and the S is literally better than nothing (which is what I was suggesting), I'm just saying that I wouldn't have cared if that hole wasn't there because while you lose something unique about the design it's something that's a little bit, you know, pervy. But hey these are comic books I guess.

I'm enjoying the Teen Titans book again. It's not setting the world on fire or anything but it's been solid. Plus, as you noticed, they're adding the new Power Girl to the team and I'm excited to see what they can do with her.

Absolutely put your money into it. It's a story about a burnt out (in every possible way) writer writing a sci-fi story, but then that sci-fi story breaks down his door and tells him he has to finish writing the story in order for both to live. (I'm intentionally skirting and obscuring parts because it's really just a brilliantly well-done meta-story that continues Morrison's fiction=reality/ reality=fiction stories literary leit-motifs.
Also, like tim said, Frazer Irving firing out some of his best damn work, and you can imagine how good that is considering his usual stellar-ass quality. There are a lot of impressive panel splits and mirroring and sequences in this joint.
