Nah. I'll likely wait these out and they will eventually cancel it and I'll just leave the statue. The issues with it make it not worth the hassle and I have moved on to other statues. Also running out of space.

You have an opinion, I have an opinion.

as soon as you come to terms with it not shipping it will ship.

In other news, it seems that Sideshow Black Cat won't be the last of the J. Scott Campbell line, they've got more coming, but no Spider-Gwen as of yet.

Read more Valiant stuff up through Harbinger Wars and the first three arcs of Archer and Armstrong, which may just be my new favourite Valiant title. Some of the issues gave me an Incredible Hercules vibe, which is always a plus. It's cool to follow along and see the continuity getting added to layer by layer across the universe, and a lot more manageable too with the smaller number of main titles. I've skipped Shadowman because that was the one title I'd not heard good things about. Next up is the first two arcs of Quantum & Woody.

Shadowman is actually readable, and actually not really all that terrible, but you'd want to leave it for when you've read everything else and you're in love with the universe. It does have two of the best issues in all of modern Valiant.

Anyone check out Cry Havoc? I thought it was a pretty compelling first issue. Si also had some "foot notes" for each page in the back of the book, which at first seemed really cool, and then at some point kind of felt a little overindulgent. Pretty interesting that there's 3 separate colorists on the book, one for each "time period" in the story.

I did.

I thought it was a pretty good first issue. All 3 story branches seem interesting in their own way. It's like getting a slice of life book, war book, and horror book all in one package.

Art looked great with all 3 colorist.

And yeah I stopped reading those footnotes about halfway through.

They don't seem to be numbered like the bombshells. I assume they want these to be widely available. Then again I think this Harley is gonna be super popular.

I thought DC limits all their statue productions to 5200 these days? They're all about dat New 52 lifestyle. But even so, these things are pretty widely available for months before they sell out.

Oh god, the nightmares are comic back.

Someone please hold me. I feel so cold....
Some of the Future's End issues were genuinely good, either developing the characters in a meaningful way, being just a good story, or actually giving some insight into the plot of the book (Earth 2 Future's End was foreshadowing for Terry Sloane's origin).

Batgirl, New Suicide Squad, and Pandora didn't fit any of those.

I've only read the Green Arrow one, but I LOVED it.

Southern Bastards and Luther Strode were excellent. Paper Girls and Saga were a pretty ok time, that Amazing Forrest book was pretty trash besides the last story. I also just read Punisher: Kingdom Gone, all for the Zaffino. It was pretty alright too.

Books I'll be buying this week but not reading until the Rockets get that SHIP!

NAILBITER #20
PAPER GIRLS #5
SHUTTER #18
WALKING DEAD #151

Spider-Man/Deadpool was good. Solid art and I liked the banter between the two of them. Agree with Deadpool about Kanye's singing.

The free issue of Vision was brilliant though. Really cleverly written and quite unsettling. Think I'll have to catch up with it.

Here are some comics I may purchase this week:

Batgirl #48
Shutter #18
Velvet #13
Walking Dead #151
A-Force #2
Captain Marvel #2

i'm not buying any books next week because of Harden's defense, but i am currently trying to accept what Zero vol 4 was. Also hoping Trump wins Iowa tmw.

Trump 2016. Make the Rockets Great Again.

It doesn't take much reimagining to just give everyone more clothes. XD

I do like Vampi's outfit, though.

Gail has also outlined the direction of the story and stuff going forward after Sword of Storms.

I am willing to give these books a shot. Red Sonja was great. I suppose it is easier to snipe from the sidelines though.

And a 75% boob reduction.

These ladies are going to have to learn to balance all over again.

Poking fun at is not sniping. I'm interested enough to give them a shot, but I may take a break from a couple Marvel / DC books, because I don't really want to spend more on comics than I currently do.
