Why does Image have so many good comics 5-6 issues in? And a bunch about 20 issues in.
Because whoever they have over there green-lighting shit obviously knows what the people want.

Axel Alonso in regards ro Ultimate FF cancellation. "The roadise is littered with series that might have deserved to stick around. All I'll say that this is a bump in the road; everyone will be talking about the Ultimate auniverse bery soon." Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
look i wish i could but no college student is gonna fly from the west coast to NC for a con, even if it's as rad as Heroes looks. hell, ECCC is out of the ballpark tooYeah, I hear you.
If you can ever swing it though, go Heroes Con. Just check Twitter right now for it and see all the rad shit being made there this weekend.
Wish I was there.
The lines are actually what i liked, but that coloring didn't mesh with his style wellI had the exact same reaction. Holy fucking fuck was that line art terrible.
Catching up on some comics and I am STUNNED how much I enjoyed Infinity Man and The Forever People.
Why arent you guys reading Crossed Wish you were here? Stuff is brilliant storywise.
Because it has needless blood and gore.
At least I think it does.

I had the same feeling. The start is very focused on blood and gore. But after a few chapters the story gets more and more important. And its a blast to read how it all unfolds.
If you want to read it for free you can do it here : http://www.crossedcomic.com/category/chapters/
Im going to buy the Omnibus when it comes out. (Hopefully soon because we are at Chapter 4 and it seems like it ends soon)
To be honest, Crossed was never my thing. It always came across as torture porn and shock-value fodder. I flip through it once in a while just to see what horrific things they come up with, but it's not something I purchase. I understand it has its audience, and that's fine. It just isn't for me.
There are a more than just one crossed comic. Badlands etc are boring and shit. WYWH is by far the best one and worth a look if you like a good story and can endure the violence. So its the same as Berserk (endure the violence and rape in the manga and you get a good story).
And : Crossed WYWH >>>>> Walking Dead
Gore doesn't bother me, I devour each new chapter of Berserk as it comes out. It's just that Crossed seems to use it as a gimmick, if not a crutch. It's gore for the sake of gore, and it's taken to extremes. I mean, did that woman in the first trade really need to be raped with a garden aerator? Really? I can forgive stuff like that if there's a story I find appealing enough. But if I was interested, I'd be reading it. It's not for everyone.

I'm trying to figure out this Rachael Rising sale on Comixology. For $20 you can get every issue released so far, but if you buy each volume individually on sale it costs more? That's pretty weird.
So I just read my free copy of Trees on Comixology, and I was definitely intrigued. I liked the colors quite a bit.
But how many issues before Ellis gets bored and moves on? (I read it, it was a'ight)

I'll be honest, I thought the book was going to be about weed.
Doesnt he only get bored working on stuff for the big two? He seems fine with his original material.
If I say Nocenti three times will Messi appear?
Oh you.
Maybe! I'm just poking fun.
why is Prince of Cats out of print already, man
I just hit a page near the end of Y the last man that made me suuuuuper sad.
Haha love this.Man, if I ever come out to the left coast, I want to come visit your book room and just stare. Do you do that? Just go in there and just stare at all your stuff? I do it, it's fun. Staring.......yeaaaaaaaaah!
I can't imagine what that could be. I mean when Yorick and Ampersand combine their power for the Super Kamehameha to defeat the Evil Amazon Queen I was pretty pumped.
First355 giving Yorick the scarf and then she gets shot
Just saw the preview for Amazing Spider-Man 3 and I'm not too crazy about Black Cat's new outfit. I like the fur around the neck and the belt around her waist but it needs more white or something to make it more visually interesting.
I dunno, I think it would look better if the fur was white and the gloves/boots were white like her old outfit. The belt being white would look pretty nice too IMO. I don't dislike it but I don't think it's as good as her old outfit.LOVE it
My comic shop didn't have issue 12 of hawkeye.
This wait is going to suck.
Yisss. Now viz is doing manga sales on comixology. Right now it's death note but this means I just need to sit back and wait for the future manga sales!

Wednesday it is for Harley Black and White statue. Shop owner has them already, he got 3 of them. He is holding one of them for me so long is I show up at opening.
I know most of you guys probably don't care since most of you read it three years ago when the issues I'm reading came out, but man, I just can't get enough of Waid's Daredevil.
Waid's writing and plot points are so clever and well-thought-out, but not at all convoluted. It's a real treat and something you really don't see too often.
