Azrael 1,000,000 may be the worst DC Comic of all-time
Omg I met Jay Mewes
Did anyone read all of Trillium? What are your general opinions of it and how far you got?
Omg I met Jay Mewes
Was it worth it?
How can you hate Detective Chimp

Got Big Damn Sin City in the mail today, holy shit it's gigantic. And moving it is an effort. I should use it for my workouts. XD
Saw the Sin City omnibus in person today and honestly didn't think it was as ridiculously huge as you guys made it out to be.
It is ridiculously huge. The Invisibles omnibus may be a bit bigger, but both books are the very definition of unwieldy.
I read all of Trillium and thought the story was interesting. I appreciated the literal twist. I was never exposed to Lemere's art before, but it worked well in this book. It would make a cool movie or mini series!Did anyone read all of Trillium? What are your general opinions of it and how far you got?

Didn't seem any bigger than my JSA vol 1 omnibus. The Invisibles on the other hand, good lord that thing is huge. What's the binding like on it?

They went with glossy pages this time instead of the softer paper they used in the original printings. I caught the Sin City film on one of the movie channels last night and it gave me the desire to reread Sin City. Just in time.

I seen the JSA Omnibus today. Damn that thing is huge also. They were so heavy.
Yep, framed and hanging on the wall.
I'm hoping to pick up some in the not too distant future. What's your collection look like?
Any standout pages you're super proud of?
Right now it's just Rat Queens pages, but I do have an 11x17 portfolio I'm looking to get filled with more stuff
Man that's so cool! This is probably a stupid question, but where do people typically acquire pages like that? Cons?
Both of the pages I own are from the NYCC charity auction.
The most I would spend on a page is about a grand, and it would have to be a page I really love. Hopefully that could get me something nice at NYCC this year.
That will get you a lot! You could probably get the cover to your favorite comic with that much.
Yeah, a thousand can go pretty far depending on what you are interested in. I paid 150 for my Hulk page and 100 for the X-Force one...though I still chalk that up to them not having a slide for the X-Force one so most of the room didn't really get to see it.
Here's the ones I own..
Those are very nice! How hard is it to get specific when it comes to pages? I want something nice from Saga, which is easy enough, but I specifically want something from
Daredevil #30. It's my favorite issue of Waid's run.

That's pretty much never going to happen no matter how much you pay
There are original pages by quite a few artists on this website: http://cadencecomicart.com/index.php
(Most importantly, Chris Burnham's art is on there. I like to look at it sometimes and wish I was impulsive with spending money.)
Edit: Ooh. This website has quite a lot of J.G. Jones stuff. The interior pages from Final Crisis are actually pretty cheap... http://www.anthonyscomicbookart.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=30212&ArtistId=468&Details=0&From=Room
Second Edit: One more website that has quite a few artists: http://www.splashpageart.com/artists.asp

I stumbled upon the Delcan Shalvey art on the one site, and my god that's amazing stuff.
I'm going to end up owning the birth page, aren't I? ._.
Saga is all digital so no originals exist
Daredevil #22 is close enough, right? http://www.splashpageart.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=25060&ArtistId=123&From=Title
I don't read X-Men but it's so strange how everyone hates Yost's stuff on X-Men. He did an amazing job on Scalet Spider and New Warriors has been great the last few issues.
Do they handle the X-Men THAT poorly?
If I ever pick up some original art (which I want too but cannot afford currently), it would be Jerome Opena.
Oh wow! Yeah! The Stilt Man issue was cool! I may be int....that's $4,000. I don't think I could ever get that. Thanks for getting me excited lol.

Allred drew it, too. Good issue

I would love ANYTHING from Allred.
I will pick up one of those pages. I can guarantee that much.
