Campbell is generally alright by me, I do enjoy most of his Spidey variants and his Disney art.

I don't like WW's new design, much prefer Jim Lee's short lived one. Maybe it'll grow on me though.

decided to give the Teen Titans relaunch a go...couple questions

When did BB turned green? he was Rec un #30. Why is wonder girl avoiding Tim? Las I saw them in annual 3 they were starting a relationship, are Skitter,KidFlash and Solstice going to be ignored?...please say yes

His work is largely targeted at male teens. You know this. His popularity comes from comics in the 90s which skewed very heavily towards male teens. I didn't say women/girls can't find his work appealing.

I'd like to see a source for half his fans being women. I'd be surprised if true. I don't know of any female fans of his work, personally. But then again I've only known one fan of his work and he was textbook Simpsons comic book guy and a clear misogynist.

Injustice is stupidly good. Like, it has no right to be as good as it is. And it pretty much maintains through out its still ongoing run with a small dip here and then with several really awesome highs.

Really looking forward to a Collected Book.

Two days until Axis Releases... :D I wont read it until I am through the Uncanny Avengers Omni, but since you all hated it, I am really excited to finally read it by myself.

Hey guys! I see Messi told you about my LTTP Hawkeye thread. Really REALLY loving it. Just got Vol. 3 today. I can see it's going to end in vol. 4/issue #22, whenever that's released. I'm already sad about that given how much I love Fraction's approach, but thinking about it today, at this point, I think I'm just really invested in Clint and Kate, period.

So, how is All-New Hawkeye to those that have read it? I plan to give it a fair chance (I think the writer has his head in the right place, reading some quotes) and I also want to check out Young Avengers since I already know I like that teams work and Daredevil by Mark Waid.

I would be happy to take any other recommendations yui guys have. I got Spider-Gwen and Silk last month, so I want to follow those as well. Liking both so far, especially Silk.

Sorry, I got a bit defensive cuz I like the guy's work a lot but not for the reason you think. I'm actually not much of a fan of his Danger Girl 90s stuff but more of what he does now. I like his super stylish colorful work he puts in. I follow him on instagram and that's where I notice female fans liking his stuff and on twitter. Again I'm not saying all females think alike and I know he is purely fanservice sometimes. I'm fully aware his art get's torn apart on tumblr sites like escher girl. But I strongly disagree on his stuff being wank material for teenage boys. Have you seen his Star Wars variant?

I loved the New Hawkeye. As far as recommendations go the one comic I'm in total love with is Rat Queens.

So... what's the big deal with that? If an artist finds a niche that has an audience more power to them. Your complaints could be leveled against virtually every artist in some fashion. Adam Hughes covers are basically hot girl worship and yet those get lauded.

If I remember right BB was just green one day with no explanation given what so ever. WG and Tim have trust issues going on right now I believe. Skitter is off doing her own thing. At the end of the previous TT incarnation Kid Flash was a convicted killer in the future, and during his trial Solstice killed a judge so she would be sentenced to his same fate. Which is all really fucking stupid. So according to the end of the last run, they're on some jail planet in the future together.

My diss against Campbell doesn't necessarilly contradict what you are saying, ie good for him if he can live off from that. But I'm not going to act like he's relevant to the point of having something to say about a new WW design.

I don't dislike the dude, I just dislike his work. Great for him if he built a carreer on it.

Barely. I was familiar that there was a golden age star man in the JSA and had some rod thing. That was it. It's robinson that really fleshed out all the characters, histories, the town, etc.

At least he can draw. Greg Land over there is tracing other people's work all day every day.

I would have loved to have Cliff Chiang's opinion on it. I saw the new Rat Queen's artist dabble on the new costume on twitter. Those are artists whose opinions I'm going to give a shit about. But that's down to one's preference for sure.

We can move that goal post all day but that's not really my point. I don't hold that particular artist in high regard so I don't really feel like his opinion is relevant to that discussion that's all there really is to me. But at least Greg Land is producing actual sequential art every month, it's crap for sure, probably "stolen" from other artists/porn shoots but he still has that over Campbell. To me.

At least if we were talking about Quitely I'd feel like fighting, this is just...Heh.

Well, yeah. If I'm having an artist cripple fight in my mind, Land wins for having his name on actual comics every month. Not touching it with a ten foot pole though.

EDIT : To be clear, I have more of an opinion than a good argument on this. That's just how I feel and not even that strongly to be fair.
