Nearly done with Ferals and... i don't think i've ever read a comic that so actively hates women.

Fucking hell, every single one is legit reduced to a fucktoy, to be dismembered and or disemboweled in due time.

I really want a Liefeld Deadpool sketch. Anyone going to SDCC wanna help me out? Will pay.

Doesn't he charge a lot? I'm reading $100-$150 for a headsketch or $200-$300 for a bust, and that was last year, so prices might go up by the time SDCC rolls around.

Though if you really want one, I might be able to help you.

It's not so much that they're try-hard as it is that they... simply don't care. Which is how Hine and Lapham get this kinda shit published.

Supergod was legit good, fwiw. Uber is a pretty fun read too.

What the fuck at that comic. I just seen a woman's stomach torn up and she is completely naked. Like what.

But you see, it was ok because she felt an irresistible urge to fuck and be violently abused by the protagonist while they fucked (which is how she got a dislocated shoulder). And that's ok because the wives of the other half-werewolf guys also actively enjoy being abused and they all kinda got this whole "if he really loves me, he'll beat the shit outta me" thing going on.

I've spent more. Thank you! When is SDCC this year?

Avatar seems to specialize in things that get pretty close to torture porn. They have some good books, but gratuitous violence and gore is definitely their niche. I haven't read too much from them, but the things I have weren't that bad. Uber and Caliban were pretty good. Crossed +100 less so, but it wasn't completely over-the-top with the gore like the main Crossed book is.

i just have to keep my head down and let all this Avatar/Ferals talk pass.

i googled Ferals. That sure is a lot of intestines.

Speaking of, i started a zombie movie on netflix, Navy Seals: The Battle for New Orleans....it's not looking good but had potential. Special effects are bad, but they tried. The plot had some potential but the story beats aren't going anywhere interesting.

^^^^^Thats an amazing order. Team Quitely.

:)

So after looking at these Ferals pictures I feel like there is probably a decent B Movie Werewolf story to be told, but it's kinda buried under extreme fanservice.

Like, if it was an image book and toned down the gratuity and got a different artist it would be ok.

I think after Black Panther we should have a Ferals reading party.

so I spent a lot of money

Would have added Absolute New Frontier to the order considering the circumstances, but I already own it AND the Deluxe Edition version.

ASS and Batman are awesome.

I want to get Absolute Inc. but I already have it digitally...

On to happier books

Went against my best judgement and decided to have a gander at Legacy of Luther Strode before it was complete. Gawd damn did Trad Moore become good over these last 5 years. Dude's depiction of movement is nearly unrivaled in the biz. It already was ridic a coupla years ago when i last saw the swolen freak, but now... gosh.

I read the whole thing. There isn't. On issue 4 there appeared to be the semblance of one. It was quickly discarded.

Dead

well not really...yet

I was gonna get Inc. in regular Hardcovers, but the Absolute Edition has tons of redrawn pages from the original publication. Also, book is freakin' massive, over 700 pages iirc.

All Star Superman looks glorious in Absolute. Nice upgrade over my original HCs

Flipped through a bunch more of old Vision/Scarlet Witch stuff, these two panels made me laugh.

Also, you can really tell how much of an after thought the Avengers were in the 90s. Terrible line ups, terrible villains, it was a mess.

Also picked up 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, and it's delightful. Messi, you're right, the shy kid cracked me up.
